Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. The Lodge offers a very nice stay close to alle the attractions in the Tsitsikamma National Park. The Lodges were spacious and clean and the staff very friendly. The restaurant offered a great view and solid food.

Featuring a swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and views of the river, Ndlovu Addo River Lodge is set in Kirkwood and offers accommodation with free WiFi. We had total privacy, the lodge was large with a garden overlooking the river, with a large covered terrace and outside seating.It was well equipped and had all we needed. The decorations were of high quality and we felt spoilt and relaxed. There was a swimming pool a short walk away. The gardens were mature and full of flowers. A little oasis to relax and feel cool.

Furrows Lodge features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Nieu-Bethesda, 200 metres from Owl House Museum. Wonderful accommodations and beautiful grounds. Althea is a fantastic, passionate host and gave us the warmest welcome we have had in years. We will return time after time.

Offering mountain views, Harmony Luxury Tents & Safari in Addo offers accommodation, a garden, a terrace and a bar. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. We loved everything! The hosts are wonderful kind people & super accommodating! Views from the room were amazing, we saw some animals too!

Featuring mountain views, Ikwanitsha Lodge in Paterson features accommodation, a garden, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The lodge is beautiful and very well equipped with everything you need as for example a fan for cooling and a heater and extra blankets. The lodge is equipped with a double bed, a working desk, a wardrobe, a kitchen and a bathroom. We especially liked the incredible view from the terrace. Ingrid was an amazing host, she was very caring and helpful. She booked great tours in the reserves around the area for us.

Situated in the Amakhala Game Reserve, Leeuwenbosch Shearers Lodge offers country-style accommodation and boasts an outdoor pool and terrace. the reception was particularly jovial. The accommodation is nice (no air conditioning) and well cared for. There is a nice (small) swimming pool provided near the accommodation, which does make for a refreshing dip in very hot days. The dinner included with us was very good. The service is top notch. The small bar below the restaurant is an absolute hit. Wifi only works in the reception area. We could park the car at our lodge. We also did a fantastic game drive there. For us, an absolute hit in our round trip. (For info we have been travelling in South Africa every year for over 15 years). We will return to this accommodation.

Providing river views, African Safari Lodge in Grahamstown provides accommodation, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and barbecue facilities. Our experience at this lodge was hands down wonderful. The room was spacious&clean and had an amazing view to the river. The nature around was beautiful. The whole experience felt really private. We booked a guided tour and a game drive which was also very private. The ranger who ran the activities was simply wonderful. He shared his deep knowledge in flora & fauna, we really enjoyed our time with him. We saw a variety of animals, not only on the guided tours but as well as just walking around property. The value for money is just insanely good. +The food was delicious! Best wishes to Dean & Fay who really cared to make our time at the lodge memorable. Would love to come back. Thank you!

Located in Addo, Charihandra Game Lodge features free WiFi throughout, air conditioning and private parking is available on-site. Guests can enjoy swimming at the outdoor pool. We ended our trip on the Garden Route (and in South Africa) by spending a few days at Charihandra. It was a very wise choice, as we had the best moments of our stay there! A big thank you to the entire team who took great care of us to ensure everything was perfect. I highly recommend enjoying the private safaris in Addo, where you are accompanied by wildlife experts, as well as the safari on the property to meet the giraffes. I highly recommend this establishment.

Situated in Jeffreys Bay with easy access to the beach, Surf Lodge South Africa features a balcony with panoramic ocean view. Excellent Lodge directly by the beach with nice views! Definitely stay here if you want to go surfing and have a place to relax! Also there are two super sweet lodge dogs :)
