With mountain views, Phong Nha Rice Field Homestay is situated in Phong Nha and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden, terrace and children's playground. The hosting family were very welcoming and helpful, from ordering a taxi for us from the airport, cooking us late-ish dinner the evening we arrived (which involved delicious tofu with tomato sauce which made my husband, avid tofu-hater, admit it can taste good), pleasant breakfast, renting us scooters as well as recommending places to see around. The homestay is located in a small village, so there are other buildings nearby, but the "backyard" part offers lovely view of surrounding rice fields, you can sit in a nice gazebo there (where they'll even serve you dinner, if you choose so), and you can enjoy the calm nature vibes... If you dislike frog and cicada sounds though, you might be disappointed, as there's plenty of both in the fields. :-) The acommodation and the location gave us much more authentic vibes than many of Phong Nha acommodation options which seemed rather "touristy" - we loved that it was truly a homestay (as we saw some acommodations during our Vietnam trip calling themselves homestay but being a basically a normal hotel-style airbnb) and it added to our Vietnam experience significantly. We 100% recommend. :-)

Especially in the morning you will see amazing view from bancol ! - Room basically but have all thing you need: Private room bathroom inside ,hot water,air condition,hair dryer…and SUPER SUPER clear! - SUPER quiet you can sleep until 11-12am 😊 - Breakfast really good! - Breakfast included: foods, water and fruit from his farm so delicious! - He provide all thing : foods, transport,tour,location beautiful,local food…all caves here. Which one you can go with scooter. Which one you can go with tour. You can choose with one suitable with you plan. Too easy and too comfortable!

Located in Phong Nha, Phong Nha Eco Village provides accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden with an outdoor swimming pool. The location is a really beautiful place to be and the room was nice and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and there were some lovely friendly dogs too! If it was warmer when we were there we definitely would have made use of the big pool!
