Volcano Eco Cabin Retreat is a chalet situated in Volcano, 16 km from Kilauea and 9.6 km from Volcano National Park's entrance. We loved everything about the accomodation. The atmosphere is wonderful, in the middle of a forest, calmness, silence, beautiful starry nights, jungle sounds. The lodge has everything you need, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, good wifi, everything is clean. It is very close, about a 20 minutes drive to Volcanoes National Park. I highly recommend to stay here if you visit Big Island. The hosts are so kind and helpful they really put their hearts and mind into this little lodge. Located at the base of Mauna Kea Volcano, this upcountry Waimea lodge offers cable TV with work desk and fans (available upon request) . Hapuna Beach is 15 minutes’ drive away. The office closed on 8:00pm but offered an easy late check-in option which was a locker box with a code. The same if you check out early. Very convenient! There is also a restaurant looks good beside the lodge.

Arnott’s Lodge is nestled in a quiet neighborhood in Hilo, just steps away from the ocean. We were on a budget which is difficult in Hawaii but this property helped us sleep five comfortably. Very friendly staff at check in. Accommodations were modest but so is the price so that’s ok.

Friendly host & was provided with great recommendations for places to visit and to eat at. Clean accommodation & friendly environment, tasty breakfast!

Situated in Volcano, 19 km from Kilauea, Halema'uma'u- Hale Kumu La'au features a living room with a TV, and free WiFi. The location in the woods was nice

Lokahi Lodge has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Volcano, 16 km from Kilauea. Peaceful and very clean and well designed room.

Kalani Oceanside Retreat features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Pahoa, 2.3 km from Kehena Black Sand Beach. There is also a fridge, microwave and a kettle. Lovely cottages and the place it self. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Star glazing was an amazing experience. Enjoyed lovely sunrise every morning. Loved the idea of guest writing their experience in the cottage diary.
