Located on a 15-acre operational farm, Tanzanice Farm Lodge offers accommodation within 4 km of the town of Karatu. The Lodoare Gate into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is 12 km from the property. Very welcoming staff. Speak very good English. Warm welcome with juice and hot towels. The room is big, with good big beds and nice bathroom with hot shower. The place is very quiet. We loved the our terrace to relax in the evening. We had half board and it was excellent the food. Very healthy and good taste. Dinner was 3 courses and breakfast was also excellent. That went beyond the way with making gluten free and lactose free bread, wraps they always asked what we would like to eat. Best food on our trip in Kenya and Tanzania. It's a perfect place to rest before and after your safari. We stayed here in total 3 night's. The location Karatu is the best if you want to go to Ngorongoro Consevation Area (NCA) or Serengeti. it's only 30 minutes to NCA. Karatu is the last town before NCA so good to go to the supermarket and get fuel. Karatu is a nice place to walk around and nice restaurant (Lilac café). The Lodge also provides 3 nice tours. We did one tour with a visit to the hospital. It was a unforgettable experience. Thanks once again for the wonderful stay! Mathias & Nanet

With lake views, Elephant lodge is situated in Kwa Kuchinia and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden and terrace. Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the property. This place is amazing! Everything about the stay from the accommodation, the setting, the staff, the food, the service, is exceptional. They have an amazing concept that the execute exceptionally well. We had a super stay and will definitely be back, it is an amazing experience I would very highly recommend

Offering lake views, Manyara's Secret in Mto wa Mbu offers accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. The most beautiful hotel. Even more beautiful staff. This is a very, very special place to stay. Easy reach of ngorogoro, Manyara and Taringire. Just blown away by how lovely the staff were. This is a little slice of heaven.

Pembeni Rhotia features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Karatu. There is a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries in each unit, along with bathrobes. Breakfast was good. We enjoyed and felt like there was a good variety of items. The staff were excellent and helpful. The owner of the property was also very helpful and kind to us. We had a great stay and highly recommend this property.

With mountain views, Africa Safari Karatu is located in Karatu and has a restaurant, a tour desk, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. The sunset views of the Ngorongoro Crater were absolutely magical from our balcony. The facilities were fantastic and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Pictures do not do this property justice! The road in is a little challenging but well worth it!

Situated in Kwa Kuchinia, Baobab Tented Camp features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. Second time visited Baobab tented camp. I should return at least one more time here! ) Lovely staff, splendid location, tasty meal! You can start a safari just leaving your tent )

Providing mountain views, Karatu safari camp Lodge in Karatu provides accommodation, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and a bar. upon our arrival we were greeted with cold fruit juice. This was so wonderful we stayed an extra night. The staff was extremely accommodating. We had our clothes washed as well as our car while we were here. Our room was of sufficient size with a beautiful covered sitting area outside. Our meals were well prepared and delicious. The creamy soups were especially creative and tasty. The evenings were a bit chilly. Upon retiring to bed after dinner we found hot water bottles under our blankets. The beds were very comfortable. The grounds were beautiful and our room was bug free. Wi-Fi was good but only in the dining/lounge area.
