He made sure he connected us with local people in the village from whom we bought food and it was all homemade and delicious. He also sent us some milk and traditional pies as a treat and that was very nice and well recieved after a day spent hiking. Would totally recommend staying at Cabana Miya and we would return the first chance we get!

It has an amazing view, is well-equipped and even has a jacuzzi you can have access to for 50 EUR/stay. If you decide to reserve it, make sure to notify the landlord in advance so it can be warmed up for your arrival. We had a flat tyre on our car, and the house caretaker and landlord were very helpful with that. They helped us fix it so we could go on and safely reach the next step of our trip.

Tiarra Mountain Lodge is an absolute gem. 5 stars is not enough for this experience. Starting with the location, the rooms and the service, all is to the highest standard. The room we had was a bit small and basic, but this is what you can expect of a remote mountain traveler lodge. There is a nice community atmosphere with many people looking like seasoned hikers. The food was excellent for both breakfast and dinner. The (reasonably priced) dinner is a set including soup, main and dessert, so we did not find the portions small. The hosts are very nice and helpful and there are plenty of pretty walking routes around, with varied degrees of difficulty. All in all, we felt great and welcomed there
I linked the fact that it was nice and clean and in a remote area, far from the noisy city. The hosts were very welcoming and kind.
We had a beautiful stay at Casa Linistita! The host welcomed us very friendly and the accommodation was really nice. We had a little wooden house in the back of the garden and it was comfortable and quite. In front of the house you have a beautiful view at the mountains. We highly recommended this place!
Excellent location and host. The lodge is located in the heart of the Apuseni Mountains. Stuff is nice and friendly, the rooms are clean and the food is very tasty, although the portions are a kind of small. Will definitely stay here again.
