Such beautiful location the big windows in the bungalows allowing you to take in the awesome scenery. Breakfast and coffee pods arriving on our doorstep in the morning was an extra surprise. The bungalows are clean and the beds very comfortable. We travelled in winter (frosty mornings) and the bungalows are well heated. The HUGE plus is dogs are welcome here. Great location for exploring Montealegre and Gerês.

The location is private and inside the forest, with a lovely view, clean air and the sound of the river. Good area for travelling Douro valley. The house is perfectly designed and equipped, with thought on every single detail. Exceptional tranquility with all the facilities. Above all, Joachim was the best host ever! He was very helpful and friendly, and made us feel like family! We'll come back again!
