Very quiet in the woods. Great hospitality by the owner. They provided a nice breakfast delivered to our treehouse door each morning. We also ordered their charcuterie board and wine for dinner one night. It was fantastic. Lots of cheeses, meats, nuts , fish, bread and more. We had enough for 2 nights. Would recommend to those wanting a unique experience in a natural setting.

Penedino Mountain Cottage í Arcos de Valdevez býður upp á borgarútsýni, gistirými, garð, sameiginlega setustofu, bar og grillaðstöðu. We were warmly received by our host Bernardino who invited us to taste a local wine. Typical regional houses, nicely renovated preserving the authenticity. The location is beautiful, lots of trails, beautiful nature. Access to a beautiful , natural pond surrounded with trees.

Equinaturi er staðsett í Santo Tirso, 24 km frá Porto og býður upp á útisundlaug. Braga er 26 km frá gististaðnum. I like the property it was so bright and green right in mountains and has amazing swimming pool and place to park the car.

Oak Nature er staðsett í Vieira do Minho, 3,1 km frá Canicada-vatni og 5,9 km frá Sao Bento da Porta Aberta-helgistaðnum. Beautiful location and great service.

This house has an absolutely great garden - almost a park. It is situated next to a very clear, cold river that forms a wonderful pool within the property. You can go swimming there. It helped us staying cool during the third terrible summer heat wave. The garden is beautifully maintained, has lovely tall trees and there are flowers everywhere. The owners have designed it with interesting details, like swings, hammocks, a small raft, etc. You have many possibilities to do outdoor games: table tennis, darts and others. The owners live next door and a very friendly. We'd loved to communicate more, but unfortunately we don't speak Portuguese. The house stays cool during the heat, because it has very thick stone walls. The property is next to the Camino de Santiago. The staff of the company that takes care of letting the house is very supportive and responds immediately if you need something. We definetely recommed this house.
