Serene, green, away from the buzzing center. It was only less than 5 mins walk from the car park so no Hussle. It felt very homey, not the typical hotel vibe since the facilities are designed as a proper home. the view from the balcony is superb. i woke up early morning to the fresh breeze. Our room was just enough for me and my guest. In all my travels, one of first and important thing I always consider is the Bathroom and the Shire exceeded my expectations. Everything in the area is clean.

At night, we enjoyed an unforgettable experience under the stars. Star gazing by the bonfire with the sound of the waves in the background was pure magic. There were also plenty of games to keep us entertained during the day, making it the perfect mix of relaxation and fun. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of local flavors—each meal felt like a home-cooked feast. The bathroom facilities were spotless, and the cherry on top was the incredible view—you can literally see the moon while showering! It was such a unique touch that made the whole experience even more special. Me and my wife, we travel a lot and we we have experienced some really good home stays, but, no where so far we have felt as much at home and so warmly welcomed like in Baleh Bobleh (the home in the village). The hosts are extremely child friendly and supported us in about anything. We have stayed in a traditional Ifugao Pole house, which however was equpped with amenities of modern times. Beds, room and bathroom really clean and the beautiful garden around our hut was like a little paradise. Claire is an excellent cook and we never felt that anything was lacking.

Special thank you to Beth who was there for everything we needed, advice of the ferrys, tours and moped rental! Truly a spectacular place with amazing staff! The accomodation is super! Air conditioning is amazing and there is a water station! Thank you so much Alfa Lodge!!!

Great location with only a few minutes walk to town where all the restaurants and bars are located. Amazing stay!
