The food was delicious, fresh, and full of local flavors—each meal felt like a home-cooked feast. The bathroom facilities were spotless, and the cherry on top was the incredible view—you can literally see the moon while showering! It was such a unique touch that made the whole experience even more special. The hostel owners were amazing! I got a parasite during my stay and they did everything they could and more to help me! They drove me to the hospital, prepared me food, checked on me while i was in the hospital and after i got out. I cannot thank them both enough! I felt so welcomed and not alone in the Situation. In general, Alec Lodge is one of the best and most welcoming hostels I stayed at during my trip.

Room was simple but very comfortable and quiet with good space to store luggage. Air con / fan combo was quite new so it wasn’t noisy. Felt like we were in the best spot and would happily stay here again.

Only 5 mm walking distance from the center but very quiet and secure. Small bedroom with aircon (no noisy) and clean. Very friendly welcoming.
