I had a wonderful time at Fundo San Silvestre. Rose and Rogel are perfect hosts, knowledgeable, attentive, kind, and generous. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, home-cooked with local ingredients, fruits and avocado freshly picked from their garden. The rooms are clean and luminous, with balconies from which one can see the sun rising over the Cordillera Blanca.

We absolutely loved to stay in this beautiful place, the views are stunning,the food is delicious, the staff are so kind and attentive, the tents are spaciois and have comfortable beds. You have free acces to tea and water throughout the day and the Domes offer additional beverages to buy once there. It is outside of the city Huaraz, but it makes sense to stay here as you have easy acces to so many unknown and beatiful lakes and walking routes. Staying here was an absolut highligt of our trip and we left wanting to stay there longer.

Offering a sun terrace and views of the mountain, The Lazy Dog Inn is situated 7 km from Huaraz, and 3,650 metres above sea level. Almost all units include a balcony and/or patio. Very welcoming owners, excellent breakfast and dinners, large rooms. We stayed 5 days at the Lazy Dog and it felt like home thanks to the welcoming vibe of the staff. Excellent base to hike to Llaca or Churup. Excellent taxi service (to the airport or Huaraz, from where you can do a lot of trips). We definitely recommend the Lazy Dog for a few days to enjoy a real home feeling during your stay in Perú!

Cuesta Serena is a boutique hotel offering accommodations with free WiFi access in common areas and mountain views in Anta-Huaraz. WOW this hotel blew us away. The new refurbishments were so beautiful, the designs were elegant and unique and the food was phenomenal. The healthy and delicious menu was the exact thing we were looking for before the huayhuash trek (still dreaming of the buddha bowl). What really set this property aside was the staff. We loved meeting and chatting to the team, they were really informative about the huayhuash trek as they had actually been guides in the past- this was so helpful for us and reassuring. This property is the perfect place to stay before or after any hiking/ trekking in Huaraz/ the Cordillera Blanca- I can't reccomend enough!
