It is outside of the city Huaraz, but it makes sense to stay here as you have easy acces to so many unknown and beatiful lakes and walking routes. Staying here was an absolut highligt of our trip and we left wanting to stay there longer.

Cuesta Serena is a boutique hotel offering accommodations with free WiFi access in common areas and mountain views in Anta-Huaraz. WOW this hotel blew us away. The new refurbishments were so beautiful, the designs were elegant and unique and the food was phenomenal. The healthy and delicious menu was the exact thing we were looking for before the huayhuash trek (still dreaming of the buddha bowl). What really set this property aside was the staff. We loved meeting and chatting to the team, they were really informative about the huayhuash trek as they had actually been guides in the past- this was so helpful for us and reassuring. This property is the perfect place to stay before or after any hiking/ trekking in Huaraz/ the Cordillera Blanca- I can't reccomend enough!
