There is also a stovetop, toaster and a kettle. Amazing location, and the view from the deck is spectacular!! Small, but very comfortable for a couple with a well-appointed kitchen. Definitely recommend it if you are in Franz Joseph!!!

Ghost Lodge is located in the charming town of Granity twenty minutes from Westport, New Zealand, the lodge offers a unique blend of historical significance and modern comfort. Great host! The lodge is very clean and the decor interesting. We heard the waves crashing all night. Simon built us a fire overlooking the ocean as the sun was setting. Magical!

Situated in Totara Flat in the West Coast region and Greymouth Railway Station reachable within 44 km, Ahaura Lodge & Waterwheel Farm Stay features accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a terrace and free private parking. everything was just perfect. Robin and her husband were unbelievably welcoming and were fantastic hosts! a little magical gem nestled in the mountains!

Its location is stunningly beautiful. The interior layout was perfect for the three of us. While we didn’t utilize the kitchen or hot tub, it was nice that they were available. We slept well here due to the quiet location and comfortable beds. The bathroom was wonderful, too.

We loved the location of the lodges, they had such amazing views! The shared kitchen was very handy and the rooms were clean and warm.
Well equipped lodge close to Franz Josef town (about 5mins in a car). We stayed in the middle of winter but found the place to be cosy & warm - heated blankets and heaters in the living room and bathroom. We had everything we needed in the kitchen for a couple of nights stay and parking right by the front door. The manager was super friendly and helpful (sorry I didn’t get her name).
Excellent standard, this place is like a hotel not a lodge (at least our room was). Great value for not much money - actually it was our best and cheapest stay during two weeks in New Zealand. Very nice kitchen with a free coffee from a coffee machine, free popcorn, free welcome scone:-) Nice personnel. Clean bathroom with cosmetics provided. Even a hot tub included:-) Generally wonderful.
The tree lodges were nestled amongst the rainforest with wonderful views, the little conservatories and decks were nice.
This was a great stop in an extremely remote area. Considering the remoteness of the area this motel offered such great facilities. The room had almost all the necessary amenities. And it was very spacious and my family of 5 was very comfortable and satisfied. There was a super game room which was really cool. My kids enjoyed it alot even very late duting the night. I stopped on my way to Franz joseph and it was amazing.
Everything was fantastic, including our lovely host. The lodge is in a beautiful spot and lovelier than the pics. The view is just wow. The property is clean, cosy and the furniture in the lodge is comfortable, well thought out and in great condition. My sister inlaw was delighted to be greeted by the hosts lovely dog.
Suzanne was a wonderful host, enjoyed conversation-Love the quiet, the bush, the wildlife, the general ambiance off the surrounds-A great place to relax and remove yourself from the pace of life-Off grid, solar, waterpower-Wooden structure like a ski lodge-wonderful verandahs overlook the ocean-Excellent kitchen and communal facilities-Were met and assisted with our luggage.
Very cute wooden house, it has a Comfortable room, very Warm and clean. Close to the town center. Free glow worm tour every night. They have a lot of free space for caravans. The lodge owner is very nice and welcoming.

Our family of 6 stayed in 2 Tree Lodges. They were modern, comfortable and clean. Lovely staff and we really enjoyed our overnight stay here 😊
