The Dome Waikino is located in Waikino. The accommodation is 23 km from Waihi Beach, and guests benefit from complimentary WiFi and private parking available on site. Location was magical set amongst native bush. Instructions on finding the property were clear and easy to follow. Will be booking again and have recommended to friends.

Clare and Ralph were the nicest people you will find! Whatever we needed, they made sure we got it. They respected our privacy and wouldn't even knock on the door to leave stuff behind when we were in the lodge! Just one text to Clare and she would answer you ASAP and try to fulfil all your wishes!

Nestled amongst a lush valley, Wairua Lodge guests enjoy free continental breakfast and free in-room Wi-Fi. Guests can relax outdoors in the hot tub or enjoy the romantic treetop bathhouse. Perfect place to stay! Best accomodation we had, not only on the North Island but in total during our 5 weeks NZ trip on both islands! The room was nicely furnitured, the amenities around were awesome - Swiss firering for BBQ with free Marshmallows, a jaccuzi to watch the stars at night, a Treetop bath-house with rainforrest view, a couple of nice and exciting walks through the rainforest, natural pools in the river and even glowworms at night. The pictures don't lie - reality is even better! And for those who still wanted to leave the premises during their stay (which would not be necessary as you've literally got everthing there already to spend some relaxing days), they also borrow spades to dig holes in the Hot water beach and also had some great recommendations on what to do when. Will definitely book again if we're in the area!

La Casa Te Puru Lodge features panoramic views of Thames, Hauraki Gulf and the rugged Coromandel Ranges. A real gem on the Coromandel coast. Superb location, beautiful garden, breathtaking view. Christine made us a delicious hot breakfast. The room had everything we needed. Thanks for a great stay.

Boasting a terrace and room service, Hare's Rest is attractively set in Taupo, 31 km from Orakei Korako Cave and Thermal Park and 31 km from Orakei Korako - The Hidden Valley. Honestly, this is the best booking I've ever experienced. Comes with access to 8 acres of land, homemade bread & cookies, and fresh eggs. The room is lovely and Allie was really nice to introduce us to her sheep and chicken.

Located at Lake Karapiro with Maungatautari Mountain backdrop, Lakeview Lodge Karapiro offers luxurious lodges with beautiful views. Thé excellent lake views, drew us to the verandahs each night to enjoy the sunsets, starry skies and a beverage or two - even my grandson joined us for the moments of enjoying nature with hot chocolate - The lodge is very well designed and catered to our large group four queen rooms one twin share three toilet/showers large dining lounge area and well catered kitchen and laundry. Would definitely come back. Helen and Steven are wonderful hosts and offered us foods for breakfast - very thoughtful. Various points of interest - the sculptures and night lighting in the gardens, alpacas and family dogs, the veggie garden which Helen offered some food from . Thank you

Set 10 km from Cathedral Cove, Mercury Ridge offers a garden, a shared lounge and air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. Amazingly beautiful property with stunning views of Cooks Beach. We loved getting to know the owners and they were very gracious throughout our stay. Home cooked breakfasts, lots of local knowledge and recommendations. You won’t regret your stay at Mercury Ridge.

Featuring an on-site tennis court, The Flying Trout Boutique Lodge is located in Taupo. Each spacious suites offers elegant décor and some provide views of the surrounding alpine area. What a wonderful experience. We loved everything about this place, The food, the hosts and the fabulous view! Exceptionally comfortable place. Well done Roband Karen!
