Perfect spot to explore Abel Tasman! We stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. The room and bed were super comfortable. Everything was clean and welcoming. The room was equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast on the patio was great. We were able to do laundry while there, too, which was a nice bonus. The owner was a very nice lady, quite helpful. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again one day!

Pōhara is an excellent location for visiting the Golden Bay and I can’t recommend the Bay Lodge highly enough.

Waters er boutique-lúxusgistiheimili á Kina-skaga, í aðeins 30 sekúndna göngufjarlægð frá ströndum Tasman-flóa. Everything was incredible. Room, Location, surroundings, Staff. I loved all the wildlife, the birds, the rabbits that you can see everywhere surrounding the property. Absolutely beautiful.

It is gorgeous!! Our room felt like a log cabin in the mountains. Huge windows, a heater, comfortable beds, walking trails right outside, and just FUN vibes. It feels like a big, happy family. My son loved the playground and trampoline. We loved walking the trail to Lake Rotoiti, seeing eels in the creek on the property, and visiting with other guests at the restaurant. Laundry facilities were an added bonus. It’s a cozy, fun place and the hosts are lovely people!
