When we arrived at Milford Sound Lodge, we were informed that the road would be closed the following day. Unfortunately we could not stay but the staff member, Gillian, immediately confirmed we could cancel without any penalties. The money was refunded promptly. We were disappointed we couldn’t stay as the lodges looked fab but with the amazing customer service we received, I have no doubt it would have been a wonderful stay.

The Cliffs Seaside Lodge er staðsett í Tuatapere Southland, Papatotara, og býður upp á gistirými með beinum aðgangi að ströndinni. Great place. Make sure to book dinner at their cafe, it’s well worth it!

Set on 2000 acres of farmland bordering the Fiordland National Park, Cabot Lodge - Fiordland National Park offers uninterrupted views of Lake Manapouri and the surrounding mountains. Our stay at Cabot Lodge was one of the highlights of our trip to NZ. It is a magical, idyllic location and our hosts Brad and Breidi and their team welcomed us with kindness and thoughtfulness in their attention to detail. We would definitely go back and stay longer next time we are in NZ! We HIGHLY recommend this most amazing experience at Cabot Lodge!

High Leys Lodge er staðsett 32 km frá Fiordland-þjóðgarðinum í Te Anau en Fiordland Cinema, Te Anau Glow Worm-hellarnir og Lake2Lake-reiðhjólastígurinn eru í innan við 4,3 km fjarlægð. On our 6 weeks NZL Trip High Leys Lodge will loom large as the best place we were lucky enough to stay in. And we stayed in some wonderful places! The location, facilities and provisions were second to none. To top it off, the welcome and service from Sarah was next level. We felt that she knew all our wishes before !could be our best mate... ! TeAnau itself is a stunning location - and sadly, we only had three nights there - but it was the hospitality of John and Sarah that has made us resolute that we will return... even though we are from Germany a good nearly 24 hours away via a couple of flights and a drive! But this place is that special to come back - just because I totally forgot to tune the guitar 🎸

Church Hill Boutique Lodge & Restaurant er staðsett í Half-moon Bay og býður upp á sjávarútsýni, veitingastað, ókeypis skutluþjónustu, bar, garð og verönd. Chris and Deanne are a great team. We enjoyed our conversations with them and their hospitality. We both liked the option to pick your breakfast time and select what you wanted from the menu. We stayed three nights and ate dinner there each night and were never disappointed, great selections too. Chris was more than willing to provide a lift somewhere when needed. We highly recommend a stay at Church Hill.

Kowhai Lane Lodge er í aðeins 5 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá sjávarsíðunni og er með útsýni yfir Halfmoon-flóa og eyjur Foveaux-sundsins. 4 klukkustunda ferð um Ulva-eyju er innifalin í herbergisverðinu.... The lodge is in a provate residence a short walk from the center of of Oban. We definately noticed that the walk was up (or down) a hill, but also that almost all lodging in Oban is up or down a hill and most are quite a distance from the town center. The lodge is quite clean and comfortable and Peter and Iris are delightful hosts. The included tour of Ulva Island Preserve was a highlight. Peter was the first forest ranger on Ulva island many years ago and provided many insights into its management challenges. We also arranged for a water taxi to the Port William hut on the beautiful Northwest Circut Track and hiked back to Oban. We also did a nighttime tour to observe kiwi's and saw three of the interesting birds. It was a moonless night and the stars were incredable. The hour-long ferry ride to Stewert Island was smooth, but the return was a bit rough and several of the passengers (fortunately not us) were seasick.

Fiordland Lodge er staðsett á svæði sem er á heimsminjaskrá UNESCO á Nýja-Sjálandi og er með útsýni yfir Te Anau-vatn og nærliggjandi fjöll. Lovely lodge in a beautiful setting. Nice, comfortable rooms, very atmospheric common spaces with big fireplace. Amazing, friendly staff. Very good food in the onsite restaurant.

Rarakau Lodge í Tuatapere býður upp á fjallaútsýni, gistirými, sameiginlega setustofu, einkastrandsvæði og grillaðstöðu. Ókeypis WiFi er í boði hvarvetna á gististaðnum. Blake was incredible. He provides a level of hospitality a trained butler in England cannot do. He anticipated my needs and exceeded them beyond all expectations. The property is well equipped and very comfortable.

The Garston Lodge er staðsett í Garston í Southland og býður upp á gistirými með ókeypis einkabílastæði. Næsti flugvöllur er Queenstown-flugvöllurinn, 57 km frá smáhýsinu. Great little place between Te Anua and Queenstown. Loved the shared kitchen and getting to talk to those doing the bike ride.

Kea by the Lake er staðsett í Te Anau á Southland-svæðinu og Te Anau Glow Worm-hellarnir eru í innan við 400 metra fjarlægð. A hidden gem! Room was a great size, beautifully decorated and clean throughout. Shared kitchen had a great range of appliances. Location was great for access to town and drive to Milford sound.
