Staying at Julianne’s and Richard’s place was just perfect. They are so kind and have great advice for activities in the area. The accomodation is well equipped and beautiful, the view above the landscape and ocean is just stunning - and you can enjoy sunsets in the hot tub. I would always come back, can definitely recommend.

El Waipoua Lodge, ubicado en una colina con vistas al extenso bosque de Waipoua, donde se hospedaron los árboles kauri emblemáticos durante 3.000 años, ofrece alojamiento de lujo en una finca... Just a fabulous place to stay. Had a gorgeous 2-room suite. The hosts are wonderful and went above and beyond to meet our special dietary requirements and to give us suggestions re what to see in the area. There's even a lovely little bushwalk on the property, and we saw a ruru (native owl) land right in front of the living room ... a very special experience.

Este lodge está ubicado en un edificio de 100 años de antigüedad y cuenta con bañera de hidromasaje y zona de parrilla. The view was amazing. We sat in bed in the morning drinking coffee and watching the sun rise above the mist. The spa pool is in a covered area, where you can look at the view. Beds were soft, just how we like them! Very quiet area. 😉

El Appledore Lodge se encuentra en la histórica orilla del río Waitangi, a 10 minutos en auto de la línea de costa de Paihia y de los principales operadores de cruceros. What an incredible place to stay! We loved Te Awa and can’t wait to come back. The hosts were so accommodating and the daily breakfasts were hearty and delicious. The pool was amazing and the location on the river was so good. Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked, Netflix on the telly and comfy couches. 10/10!

Fabulous staff, incredible views!!! Just perfection there at “the top of the world” and then throw in golf….life does not get better!
