Positioned on the southern shores of Lake Pukaki, in the Mackenzie Country, and designed to maximize the panoramic views, Lakestone Lodge offers free bicycle rental to explore the beautiful country... Great location at the bottom of Lake Pukaki with awesome view onto Mt. Cook. The property provides super service and is completely off-grid and self sustained. Food was awesome. We loved the star gazing - well educated, super comfy and we saw galaxies with our plain eye.

Boasting free WiFi and views of the Southern Alps, Matuka Lodge is located on the Alps to Ocean Cycleway. All rooms feature a patio offering mountain views. This is a very cozy and well maintained house. The view from the living area and also our room is astonishing! Few rooms which made us feeling like this is our home. Mel is super nice and the breakfast was well made beyond our expectations. The location was also not bad, about 10mins drive to the nearest town, Twizel, for gas.

Three Rivers Lodge is located off the southern banks of Lake Tekapo, in the shadow of New Zealand’s picturesque Southern Alps. Andy was so lovely and helped us with any questions we had. property was stunning and had the best views of the lake. So close to all activities and 100% recommend doing the stargazing and hot springs !
