Located along the historic banks of the Waitangi River, Te Awa Lodge is 10 minutes’ drive from the Paihia waterfront and major cruise operators. What an incredible place to stay! We loved Te Awa and can’t wait to come back. The hosts were so accommodating and the daily breakfasts were hearty and delicious. The pool was amazing and the location on the river was so good. Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked, Netflix on the telly and comfy couches. 10/10!

Set on a promontory above the Veronica Channel and the entrance to Port Opua Harbour, Cliff Edge by the Sea is a peaceful retreat offering seclusion and magnificent sea views. The place is magnificent. It has extensive sea views. It is elegant and sophisticated . We were very lucky to have the place for ourselves and enjoyed a nice time on the couches. The room is big and warm, the bed is very comfortable and the shower is very nice as well. Peter prepared a very nice breakfast which we enjoyed with a very nice view. We will definitely return!
