Hosts were amazing, informative and really very helpful and absolutely ensured you got the very best from your stay; breakfasts excellent sitting on the terrace with stunning views and completely home made foods and the whole property is made over for the enjoyment of guests. It is a home from home and full of its own history with classic furniture.

Whangaruru North

Paihia
Set on a promontory above the Veronica Channel and the entrance to Port Opua Harbour, Cliff Edge by the Sea is a peaceful retreat offering seclusion and magnificent sea views.
Cliff Edge by the Sea is a self-contained two bedroom apartment and provides guests with everything you can expect from a luxury experience. The apartment consists of a large open lounge, dining and kitchen area, a master bedroom with Balinese 4-poster bed with ensuite bathroom, and the second bedroom with super king split system bed and separate bathroom. Basic cooking ingredients are supplied with complimentary breakfast provisions and beverages provided on arrival.
We had a fantastic stay. Beautiful rooms with amazing views.
Kerikeri
Just 5 minutes’ drive from Kerikeri town centre, Puketotara Lodge offers accommodation with countryside views from every room. Free car parking and free Wi-Fi access are provided.
Set amongst 30 acres of native landscape and lush rural pastures, Puketotara Bay of Islands Lodge is surrounded by local wineries and several golf courses. Paihia is only a 20-minute drive away.
The location is beautiful, the lodge is beautiful and the hosts are so welcoming and kind that the whole stay was very enjoyable.
The Junior Suite has a beautiful view from the lounge area. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped. The room itself was very comfortable and a lovely surprise. Great facilities gym & outside laundry with ice machine. Very very close to the main part of Paihia and a perfect view of the bay. Perhaps change the name Autolodge to something else, gives the wrong impression, its better than a motel or autolodge.

Lovely little lodge with freshly refurbished rooms. Very nice communal kitchen, designed for sharing. A short distance from the wharf and shopping area. Very friendly hosts!

The room and lodge were excellent.
I had a great stay at Titore Lodge. Karen is so kind and welcoming, which made my stay even better. The room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. I also liked that there is a hiking trail right by the property, so I could walk/hike into town (I did not have a car).
Location is excellent, just next to my favorite chocolate factory and very very close to town and I would say you won’t disappoint if you choose this lodge to stay! It’s just wonderful!
The best hotel in Northland. It can only be surpassed by boutique lodges, but then the prices are relevant. I've stayed and dined here many times since the multi-million-dollar refurbishment was completed, and the staff continue to make The Duke my favourite place away from home.
