We booked for our last night of holiday , as it is only a short drive to the airport from the property. Our tented cabins were spacious and featured a lovely balcony area . We pre booked dinner , service and menu choice was very good , as was breakfast :) The pool area is rather special as it over looks a waterhole which is visited by animals on the reserve , including giraffes.

Located on a desert reserve between Sesriem and Solitaire, Soft Adventure Camp offers chalet accommodation for nature enthusiasts, just 30 minutes drive away from Namib-Naukluft National Park. We had an amazing stay here. When we arrived we actually got upgraded into the Namib Naukluft Lodge, which is just around the corner and has the same owners. Staff was absolutely wonderful and super helpful. Dinner was superb and very healthy. Eating under the stars in absolute quiet and tranquility was an amazing experience!

Offering a garden, Rooisand Desert Ranch offers accommodation on the C26 in Chausib, approximately half-way between Walvis Bay and Windhoek. Free private parking is available on site. Rooisand is an oasis in the middle of the desert! Absolutely beautiful setting, very nice accommodation (we stayed in the Comfort rooms). Delicious food, served together with the owners and the other guests - we enjoyed the friendly, communal environment. We did the "Astro Tour" with Axel which we really enjoyed, a chance to see the amazing night sky through the telescope/observatory. We also enjoyed hiking in the grounds. We loved our stay here and would love to come back one day! Highly recommended.

Located 50 km from Solitaire, Rostock Ritz features African-style bungalows located along the riverbeds and mountain slopes of the Namib Desert. We loved the lodge and especially Travis and Jeremaier! The staff is so lovely and very enjoyable! The location is a dream !

These spacious, air-conditioned bungalows feature warm décor and local touches. Situated near the Naukluft Mountain Zebra Park, the lodge has an outdoor swimming pool with a shaded seating area. Amazing pool, really friendly staff, beautiful views and rooms were superb (showers, etc). Can even sleep outside.

Located south of Solitaire, Namib Naukluft Lodge is set on the private Nam Nau Habitat. Backed by granite hills, the lodge offers an outdoor pool. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and restaurant. Very few lodges have a view like Naukluft Lodge. It is located about 45 minutes from Sossusvlei, right by the Naukluft Mountains, precisely on the border between the Hardap and Khomas regions. The panorama and tranquility are overwhelming. From the terrace of each room, you can gaze across the vast savannah and a striking mountain backdrop on the distant horizon. Sometimes in the evening, a large herd of wildebeest comes right in front of the lodge to drink from the water. Oryx are scattered in the wide steppe grass. The lodge is very well-equipped. The brick bungalows are comfortable and stand out for the breathtaking view from the private terrace. A small pool with a shaded seating area provides cooling. The breakfast buffet is rich and sufficient, and the dinner is an excellent 4-course menu. The lodge offers shaded parking spaces for vehicles. The staff is extraordinarily friendly and attentive. We spent two nights here, and I will definitely come back.
