Surrounded by natural African gardens, this eco-friendly lodge offers bright rooms with a balcony overlooking the Gurib River bed. Our visit to Alte Kalkoefen Lodge was a highlight of our Namibia trip. The owners and staff were incredibly welcoming, making us feel at home from the start. The lodge exceeded our expectations in comfort and cleanliness. Another highlight is definitely the food they serve. Suuuuper delicious! The genuine friendliness of everyone there was remarkable. A special touch was receiving a jar of their delicious relish at departure, a favorite of ours during the stay.

Set in Keetmanshoop, Mount Canyon Guest Farm offers accommodation with free private parking. Guests at the lodge can enjoy a Full English/Irish breakfast. Certainly one of the highlights of our trip to Namibia. The location is spectacular right at the edge of the mountains, great sundowner drive and very interesting talks with our host Abraham. The farm includes spectacular canyons which can be hiked or driven. We stayed two nights (one day to visit fish River Canyon, which is convenient to reach ) and would have loved to have at least one more day to hike around the beautiful mountains!

Located in Sandfontein, Sandfontein Lodge & Nature Reserve provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy an outdoor swimming pool, a shared lounge and a restaurant. Faboulous place! The people, our Guide, the view and the silence. Well worth the long drive from Windhoek. Would love to come back!

Felix Unite Provenance Camp situated in Noordoewer overlooks the great Orange River. It features a restaurant and WiFi is available in the business centre. Great location overlooking the river with a lot of things going on if you wanted to get involved. The area is fantastic with lovely gardens, large pool, good restaurant. Really enjoyed our time at the camp where we found everyone friendly and helpful

Providing mountain views, Kanaan Desert Retreat in Helmeringhausen provides accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a shared lounge, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. Beautifully located in the sand dunes with comfortable glamping tents. Staff was very friendly and the views are insane.

Kalahari Game Lodge is located on the C15, just 20km from the Mata Mata Border post between Namibia and South Africa. The lodge offers an outdoor pool and on site restaurant. Staff was absolutely amazing, thank you to Natasha, Nelson and The Chef! We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. The food is well cooked and really tasty, especially considering in the remote location. Facilities are well maintained and clean.
