Very relaxed and laid back place right on the river. Garden grounds with lots of bird life right out the door. The management of the property is now Caprivi Adventures tour company, so previous issues with management probably don’t apply. As they are part of a tour company, it’s easy to arrange activities. I had two exceptional birding outings on the river with Riian during my stay.

Very kind and helpful owner for any transport need and prepared on excursions in the surrounding area at honest prices. The little restaurant with the excellent chef was a must. We can only say: thank you Mr Richard for the wonderful stay.

Set on the banks of the Okavango River, Shametu River Lodge offers views of the Popa Falls and is 6.5 km from Divundu. Free private parking is available on site. The staff were fabulous. Thank you to the entire team.
