Great views from everywhere of the camp down to the river, the main lodge is beautifully designed with wonderful furniture. Our studio was also well equipped, clean and super cozy! The staff is helpful with everything one might need and always attentive of the wellbeing of their guest. A peaceful place to calm down and to enjoy the nature of Namibia.

With river views, Chobe River Camp is located in Ngoma and has a restaurant, a concierge service, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Great spot by the chobe. Called from Ngoma border crossing and the fetched us for 150 rand. Had the whole place to ourselves as quiet night. 3 course dinner was excellent as was the wine. Good value at 395 + 125 R

Set on the banks of the Okavango River, Shametu River Lodge offers views of the Popa Falls and is 6.5 km from Divundu. Free private parking is available on site. Great welcome. Absolutely fantastic for birds and wildlife. Could easily spend hours enjoying the stunning view from the room and grounds. Everyone friendly and helpful, the manageress was lovely, coming to speak with us at meals. Sundowner Boat trip fabulous, great guide. To have the amazing Mahangu Core Reserve only 15 minutes away was excellent, Elephant, Giraffe, Hippo and so much more. The food was delicious, catering for our vegetarian diet. For birders the views of Rock Pratincoles just incredible, I saw over 150 species of bird in a day in this area. Would love to return again.

Located in Katima Mulilo, Kubu & Kwena Lodge provides accommodation with free private parking. All units come with a patio, a kitchen with a fridge and a stovetop, and a private bathroom with shower. The hotel was on a great place next to the river, seeing the sunset from the restaurant was an unforgetable experience, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms were really clean and confortable, the staff of the lodge was always making sure our experience in kubu & kwena was delightful

Garden grounds with lots of bird life right out the door. The management of the property is now Caprivi Adventures tour company, so previous issues with management probably don’t apply. As they are part of a tour company, it’s easy to arrange activities. I had two exceptional birding outings on the river with Riian during my stay.
