This area features a library, board games and plenty of space to relax and catch up with world.. the kitchen ,with a menu offering several fresh and tasty choices is also in this area…..breakfast , lunch or dinner… all delicious! The space in between… Six wonderfully designed and constructed A frames, offering everything necessary for the best off grid experience I have ever found. Woke with sunrise and followed the path down the wooden stairs to the breathtaking Lake Bacalar. easily spent the early day here … comfy chairs , floating decks , in water swing and hammock….. and free use kayaks.A mix of sun and shade makes it all perfect . The town of Bacalar is 15 minutes down the road , several options to tour the lake …. sail , pontoon and motorboats. Definitely visit Azul Cenote a few miles further down road . Returned to jungle early evening to be greeted with a sky full for gazing and shimmering moon lit water with sounds of nature providing the soundtrack for an experience that will not soon be forgotten. Casa Cactus Buenavista ligger i Bacalar og har swimmingpool, have, terrasse og udsigt til haven. Der tilbydes indkvartering med gratis wi-fi. The hosts, Jey and Sebastian, were fabulous. Extremely helpful with activity and restaurant suggestions, arranging transportation, etc. They made sure you felt welcome in their peaceful and inviting oasis. The property is located approximately midway between Bacalar and Mahahual. With a combination of private and local transportation, it is very easy to get around. I highly recommend this property, and hope to return soon. Thank you Jey and Sebastian for a lovely stay!

The property was beautiful and clean! It was nice and quiet! It’s close to Tulum and has a bunch of shops close by.

Nahouse Jungle Lodges ligger 6,9 km fra Tulums arkæologiske område og har sæsonåben udendørs swimmingpool, have samt værelser med aircondition, terrasse og gratis wi-fi. Absolutely beautiful property and great accommodations. The house was perfect; it has just enough to be comfortable and it’s pared down, aesthetically and utensil-wise, which I personally prefer over a gimmicky place. Garden is stunning and pool is beautiful. Staff is excellent, though they only speak spanish, so if you don’t, I recommend downloading google translate app or better yet, learning a few basics of spanish. They are very attentive and kind.

Clean pool, beautiful property, staff were working to maintain it. A property that is increasing in value and comfort not being allowed to run down!!

Vida Silvestre ligger 80 m fra South Tulum Beach og har udendørs swimmingpool, have samt værelser med aircondition, terrasse og gratis wi-fi. We loved our stay at Vida Silvestre. Perfect location. It was quiet at night, and you could just cross the street to the beach. Beach bars dos ceibas and cheringito were our picks and amazing for enjoying a nice beach day. Agustina was a lovely host. She answered WhatsApp right away and gave us great recommendations. 😊 we will be back for sure !

Denne feriebolig ved stranden ligger 10 minutters kørsel fra Tulum centrum og ruinerne. Xcaret Park ligger 65 km derfra. Det har en privat strand og gratis trådløs internetadgang. The location was wonderful. Nestled in the jungle with the ocean at your doorstep. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

ANAND Ecoaldea ligger i Puerto Morelos i Quintana Roo-regionen, 48 km fra Beto Avila Stadion. Such a beautiful and unique place hidden in the jungle. We loved all the details in the complex. There's a gorgeous room for yoga, fireplace, hammocks, pool.. The staff was warm and friendly. We felt like everything was done with a big heart. You'll definitely need a car to get around but that's great when exploring cenotes in the area. When it comes to food, you can either cook here or there's a local tinie tiny town with some affordable restaurants. Local breakfast is offered in the morning. I warmly recommend ANAND Ecoaldea - thank you <3 One of the highlight of our trip.

Excellent location far away from the busy streets of Cancún for absolut relaxation in a tropical paradise. Drinking a mojito during the rise of the full moon over the ocean after sunset is a dramatic and truely magical experience (if you happen to be there at the right time) and the night sky is spectacular. The breakfast and lunch/dinner at the hotel bar as well as in the local restaurants in the nearby fishing village is excellent. If you like dogs, there are a few in the village that might follow you to the hotel area if you interact with them (they are well socialised and have a home and are healthy). They are very friendly and playful and might accompany you on a hike up the beach or to the lighthouse. The locals are friendly and help you out in case you don't find the path to the lighthouse that you can reach by foot or by renting some bikes in the hotel. The hotel has 24/7 electricity using a generator that you don't hear around the cabanas and tents and only very faint as the ocean and the wind through the palms is creating a calming natural noise that also makes you sleep well. Wifi is surprisingly fast and available in the reception area. The mattresses in the cabana we stayed in are very comfy and the cabana itself is rather luxurious (wide bed, mosquito nets everywhere, mostly natural building materials, the water in the shower comes out of a conch) given that it is a far away location. There is a barrier reef in the bay which you can reach with one of the locals' tour boats. You might also spot some dolphins and tortugas on the way around the mangrove-lined coastline.
