The rooms are spacious, spotless, and there are only three cottages, so it feels really private and exclusive. The grounds are beautifully maintained, making it a perfect escape. But the real highlight? The host. He went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Whether it was organizing a safari, arranging dinner, or planning other activities, he had it all covered. He and his friend even drove us around in the Jeep, which is normally used for safaris, without charging us a cent—talk about hospitality! The safari organized by the host was fantastic and surprisingly affordable compared to other options. If you're looking for a place with great service and a personal touch, this is it. Highly recommend!

Wild River Side er staðsett í Udawalawe í Ratnapura-hverfinu og býður upp á gistirými með ókeypis WiFi, ókeypis einkabílastæði og aðgang að heitum potti. Very calm and quiet place in Udawalawa. We loved the nature around. Many birds singing in the morning and everting. You could even see a monkey swinging on the nearby tree :) We were welcomed with a cold juice. The room was spacious and clean. Very comfortable. The dinner was one of the best we ate in Sri Lanka. Delicious homemade rice & curry. The same thing for breakfast, really tasty. In our room we had a kettle, tea, coffee and a bottle of water. We were just passing through Udawalawa, but would definitely spend more time in Wild River Side if we could :) Thank you!

Nature Glow Cottage has undoubtedly been the best stay we've had in the past four months of travelling around Asia. Within the first 30 minutes of our arrival, we were greeted with warm smiles, a refreshing and delicious juice, and the delightful surprise of spotting various animals, including monkeys, an owl, a mongoose, and squirrels. The kindness, the smiles, the hospitality, the accommodation, swimming with our host in the river at the back of the property and exploring their gardens, seeing different plants and fruit trees—it was incredible. - The room was clean, well equipped with comfortable beds, AC was great as well as the mosquito net. Hot water was also a plus! - Highly recommend having breakfast and dinner. The hosts are exceptional cooks and overindulge you with true Sri lankan food. You can also go in the kitchen and see how food is made (unfortunately, we ran out of time) - The porch area is so tranquil in the middle of a little jungle with comfy seating and even a small added touch of an animal book so you can read through for your Safari and after spotting animals in front of your room. - Hosts can also organise safaris for you at a reasonable cost. We only wish we could have spent more time here.

Secret River Side Safari Lodge er staðsett 17 km frá Udawalawe-þjóðgarðinum og býður upp á gistingu með garði, verönd og herbergisþjónustu gestum til aukinna þæginda. This is absolutely such a wonderful stay, just go! The room is perfect and you look out on a lovely garden with a river next to it (you can swim!). The family is so lovely and the dinner they cooked was amazing. On top, they arranged a super nice safari with a very good driver. Wish I could stay a bit longer to enjoy the peace and quiet on a sunny day!

Staff is exceptional, breakfast was delicious and the safari was really awesome. The room was large and the AC worked well
