Staff and owner the absolute best people around. Couldn't do enough for you and willing to go out of their way to help in anyway possible. With pool views, Tranquil Wild is located in Tanamalwila and has a restaurant, room service, snack bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. The facility, the room, the amenities and property everything was just amazing. The food was also excellent.. owner Anne was very sweet and caring. This facility is near to block 6 of the national park which has a lot of elephants and other animals and birds.. although block 1 is famous for leapord but sightings are difficult and it's dense forest so we can't see a lot of animals.. we would have loved to spend a few more days just relaxing in this property if we didn't have other plans. Amazing views of the lake and peacocks and monkeys roaming in the hotel gardens.. amazing.

Its very near to lunugumvehera national park in which you can go safari without disturbing the jungle creatures too much as it's less crowded than many other crowded safari parks around. It is one of the best places we stayed in Sri Lanka.

Set in Kataragama in the Monaragala District region, with Kataragama Temple nearby, Wadula Safari - Yala offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Very nice and clean rooms. We stayed in a bungalow in the middle of the jungle. The bungalow had nice high ceilings, a little porch and aircondition. The hosts are very nice and made us feel very welcome. We had a nice Dinner surrounded by oil lamps in the middle of nature. The hosts organized a half Day Safari for us and packed a nice breakfast with fruits and sandwiches. The place is very close to the park entrance so we started at 5:30 am bit were still one of the first jeeps in the park. The beds are comfortablewe slept really well.
