Waking up in the middle of mangroves and palmtrees, hearing the sound of the ocean was just the perfect start for our Sri Lanka trip. Food and drinks were delicious!

Manthally Cabanas offers unique, handcrafted cabanas in a Jungle setting just 1.5 mile inland from the beautiful Narigama Beach and 2 miles from Hikkaduwa Beach. Everything! The cabanas and the little cute pool are made with so much love and attention to details. The yard is full of greenery, birds and life, so beautiful. But most amazing is the hospitality of Rasi, Chami and especially Anwar who always went extra mile for caring of us. The breakfast was lovely, freshly home made and varied every day. It was really hard to leave the place.

Galle'de Galle Kalesi'ne 4,8 km ve Galle Hollanda Kilisesi'ne 4,9 km uzaklıkta yer alan THE LODGE by Eco Love klimalıdır. I loved my time at the lodge. The accommodation is run by a family and has been opened just some weeks ago. Not only does it look really beautiful and stilish, every little detail has been planned with love. There is a warm shower with good water pressure, the bed is incredibly comfortable and the food prepared by the mother is simply delicious! I did a cooking class with her and Malik gave me a tour of Galle. The center is not far away and the way to get there is fantastic! You are on your own in the lodge and have plenty of peace and privacy, but the family always welcomes you and ensures you have an unforgettable time. I will definitely come back and stay longer!

We initially planned a 4-day stay at Samalanka Boutique Hotel, but the captivating allure of this place made leaving impossible, extending our retreat to a full week. Located in a breathtaking locale, the warm hospitality from the staff, Malin (the manager), Sudeera and Sarath, made our experience exceptional. Malin treated us to a nutritious breakfasts featuring fresh fruits, omelet, bread, and spreads. The standout was the exceptional coffee, arguably the best we've had in Sri Lanka. Although the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, Pink Elephant in Unawatuna delivers meals promptly at reasonable prices. The option to use the kitchen for personal cooking is also available. Situated approximately three kilometers from Habaraduwa, the hotel provides easy access to essentials like Cargills, restaurants, and the beach. We opted for scooters from Easy Bike, but the staff is more than willing to arrange tuktuks for convenient transportation. For those seeking a relaxing escape in the South Province of Sri Lanka, we wholeheartedly recommend Samalanka Boutique Hotel!

Absolutely amazing people. Ive stayed couple of days and then came back during the same trip before leaving the Island. Kindness above the ceiling. Very warm and welcoming people! Samitha even showed me a lots of places around! If you planning a trip to the South or around this area definitely stop by for some days. If you travel by yourself you can play with Dixie (6y old golden retriever) and you will forget all the worries. Very comfy, spacious rooms with a Nice view of nature. Sooo much nature around. I recommend to rent a scooter in Ahangama as it is 15 minute drive from the beach side. They can cook at home anything you would like to try (even Chinese food) and it is better than any restaurant Ive tried in Sri Lanka so far! Nothing else I can say just Thank you, thank you & thank you!

Our stay at Ocean Pearl Cottage was absolutely fantastic. It was characterized by top-notch quality that made us feel as though we were sleeping in a hotel rather than a guest house. Our room and bathroom were all spacious, immaculate, and so pretty, with the bed being exceptionally comfortable, to the point where saying we loved it would be an understatement. I cannot say enough good things about the owner here! When Sam, the owner of this guest house, is away working on a ship for extended periods each year, his friends step in to manage the property in his absence. We were fortunate to meet Sam, who proved to be the most exceptional host throughout our 2 1/2-month trip through Sri Lanka. Sam is incredibly kind and always goes the extra mile to ensure that every aspect of your stay is flawless. The breakfast was truly exceptional. Each morning, we were treated to a diverse spread that included fresh juices that were simply fantastic. He even provided vegan options for me, which I found to be not only delicious but also greatly appreciated. Upon our arrival, I was already struggling with a dry cough, and he prepared an ayurvedic drink to help me feel better - showing his thoughtfulness and care in a way that meant a lot to me, especially because I did not ask for that. Throughout our stay, the owner was incredibly attentive and funny, always ensuring that we were comfortable and happy. We enjoyed engaging in conversations with him about life, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that we will always remember fondly. He even cleaned our room after a few days without any additional charge, providing fresh towels, and allowing us to use his fully equipped kitchen. Additionally, he offered us the use of his scooter for touring around at no cost. And that's not all - he even cooked dinner for us three nights in a row, and let me tell you, it was an absolute delight.

Brand - new apartment with all amenities for a comfortable stay and a beautiful view over a rice field, quiet and save neighborhood as well. Lasa and his wife are super kind hosts and I loved the daily home-made breakfast with fruit and fresh coconuts from their own garden. It’s been my 2nd stay already and I will definitely come back many more times.

Unawatuna Plajı noktasına 400 m mesafede yer alan Unawatuna Backpacker Lodge tesisi size konfor sağlamak amacıyla bahçe, ortak oturma alanı ve ortak mutfak olanaklarına sahip bir konaklama imkanı... The place was very confortable. The host is very kind and helpful. He owns a nice little restaurant and another house just next, so very quiet almost no other neighbours. Very good breakfast, copious and varied. Fews minutes walk from the beach, many shops and restaurants around. The best plus is that it is located on the jungle edge of the village and by the river, so we had iguanas, varans, birds and plenty of monkeys passing so close to us!! Wonderful!! The best rate quality/price of our travel so far, highly recommanded!
