To put this into perspective I've been watching wildlife documentaries and survival programmes since I was a kid, with a dream of being in the Masai Mara on safari. I've had this dream for nearly 40 years. When the reality of the trip bypasses the massive expectations I've had all that time is the tribute I have for this camp. The staff, the guides, the tents, the food, the location and everything in between has left a mark for life. Wow what an incredible snd intoxicating experience...asante sana x

The staff were extremely accommodating and hospitable. They have 5 cottages, and they go out of their way to make the guests feel comfortable. For one of our family members this was a birthday trip, and chef and staff baked a full sized cake for dinner that night! Unexpected delight. They also made excellent food for lunch and dinner every day while keeping our dietary restrictions in mind (vegetarian). 100% would stay here again any time we visit Masai Mara. The staff was impeccable. The food was spectacular. The services were there without being overbearing, and it felt like you were the only two people in the resort. I have traveled millions of miles and stayed in hundreds of hotels and I would put Laurel Plains amongst the top two or three I’ve ever say that we will be back with our family experience and the knowledge gained from the guides was the best part of our Africa trip.

Our rooms were absolutely big, clean and the beds were comfy. The food is top notch from breakfast to dinner. The staff were above and beyond. Everyone was so friendly and they made sure we had a lovely stay.

Wilderness Seekers Ltd Trading As Mara River Camp is located on the North West boundary of the Maasai Mara National Reserve overlooking the Mara River. It features a swimming pool and garden. location , location, location and of course the exceptional service provided by staff. I usually never remember staff names but Rose, Moses, Joseph and their Manager Ezekiel took care of our every little need. Ezekiel gave us insight on Masai culture and told us all about the Mara and it’s animals.

The staff were the courteous ones I have ever encountered at a hotel. Right from check-in to check-out they were friendly, cooperative, and accommodating. The staff helped us celebrate our daughter's birthday with Masai touch and a cake at no cost. Hot water is available all times and power availability was no issue. There were table tennis and snooker tables that kids enjoyed after safari trips. Food was fine also. Soft drinks and water were all included in meals.

We had an amazing experience at the Camp. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food was lovely, even my fussy 6 year old enjoyed the food. The tent style accommodation is so enjoyable as part of the safari experience! Highly recommend!
