Incroyable petit chalet construit il y a 25 ans par le propriétaire au coeur de la montagne, tout confort, vue mer et montagne. Grande terrasse, cuisine, chambre, WC et sdb séparés. Le propriétaire est charmant et rendant service, il fait l'effort de parler anglais. Tout est parfait et de bon goût. A 20 minutes des Nachifalls et a 20 minutes de la côte. Nous sommes une famille de trois personnes, je recommande a 100%

I‘m very thankful to have been able to stay at this beautiful Retreat House in Koyasan. Atsuki and Otto did a great job and let me feel home for a few days. The house is beautiful, spacious, clean and well maintained. It’s located close to the main temple, the museum, a couple of pilgrimage trails and the supermarket. Atsuki and Otto both had valuable informations aswell as recommendations and helped me out a couple of times - thank you 😊 The meditation practice in the morning was a nice surprise and was both: grounding and informative. A perfect start to the morning in this special place Koyasan.

Situé à Hashimoto, le Yadori Onsen Iyashinoyu propose une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite, un salon commun, une terrasse et un restaurant. We stayed here as a base for Koyasan, as we couldn’t get accommodation for five up on the mountain. We had a hire car. The road from Koyasan down here is extremely narrow and windy - it will take you half an hour, and you will want to be a confident driver on narrow mountain roads. We lived in fear that we would meet an oncoming vehicle in one of the insanely narrow stretches, but never did, thankfully. They have a restaurant on site which we recommend you use - there is nowhere else to eat within a large distance, and almost all the restaurants in Koyasan are closed in the evening. We had breakfast there which was fantastic - though a little too traditionally Japanese for our fussy teenage son’s taste. The accommodation is in a lovely quiet valley - it’s a beautiful spot. Our cabin was spacious and had good cooking facilities (though we didn’t use them). The receptionist spoke enough English to get us booked in without recourse to Google Translate. There was no wifi in our cabin - but amazingly enough there was phone reception, despite being in a deep valley in the middle of nowhere. There may be Wifi in reception but we didn’t explore this. We used the private onsen in our cabin - basically a very large stone bath that you fill from hot and cold taps to whatever temperature you want. Very pleasant. The hotel seems to offer a shuttle service to Koyasan - we didn’t use it but overheard other guests who had used it.
