Set in Furano in the Hokkaido region, with Asahigaoka Park nearby, Cottage Morino Nakamatachi offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Location was short walk to ski lifts and restaurants facilities great. Host helpful and friendly, great to have facilities for preparing own food. Beds firm like most in Japan. I'll be back.

A 3-minute walk from Niseko Ski Resort, Pension Berg offers Japanese-style and Western accommodation, ski storage and free WiFi. The breakfast was a nice mix and excellent value. Comfy lounge area. The location is amazing (cut through directly across the road to the ski run) very close to dinner/bar options and convenience stores. The owner/host, Miwa, is absolutely lovely, very welcoming and helpful. I took advantage of ski rental delivery. Very nice to have the small onsen. Stunning view of Mt Yōtei, if you’re lucky.

Ideally located just a 5-minute walk from Niseko Mt. Resort Grand Hirafu, Pension Woody Note provides cosy accommodation with wooden flooring and furnishings. So homey the room was clean and comfy. The owner was so nice he offered us a lift from and back to Hirafu bus station.

Situated in Lake Toya, 14 km from Lake Toya, LAKE view PRIVATE log house features accommodation with a garden, free WiFi and a 24-hour front desk. The view of the lake is incredible, bathroom with big tub & mist, great kitchen. so relaxing & quiet.
