The staff in general where very friendly and pleasant. The room was extremely well cleaned and great shower. Outside control of the lodge was the loud prayers waking us as of 3-6AM every night.
Really great stay at Danke Lodge, rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff are really friendly and helpful, really great service with the collection and drop off.
The hotel is located 2mn from the pier which is convenient to go on a cruise. It is in a quiet street. Breakfast is served on the roof top which provides a nice view on the bay. We forgot something when we checked out but were able to get it back a few days later when we returned in town. Thanks to Komodo Lodge for that!
The pickup service is great. The lodge is quite a bit from town center but since they'll bring you there and pick you back up, it really doesn't matter. I'll book again here.
For such a remote area, basic amenities are sufficient for comfort, such as hot water, electricity, and protection from insects. Generally in whole Moni when we visited, internet coverage was intermittent. Highlight is interaction with the people. Billy the host was very helpful and friendly, with his friend Andy who brought us around Kelimutu, took us through trekking path to very quiet waterfall (Miri Keba?), and Ranggase village.
It is an extremely interesting lodge, with colorful cabins. The location makes the place. You’re surrounded by a beautiful landscape, close to the river and private beaches. Olivier, his family and the staff are great hosts! And his small warung has one of the best food I’ve tried.
Simple, but super clean, wonderful bed. And the shuttle bus is so convenient. The lodge owner and all the crew are so sweet and nice. They will do anything they can to make customers feel safe and cared.
We loved everything about danke lodge!! The shuttle made it easy to go to the city at anytime. The breakfast was delicious. We hope to be back soon :)
I really liked how the lodge is very quite and calm. It was a great opportunity for us to become one with nature. I also really liked how the place is clean, and the mattress was very comfortable. We did not have any difficulties to sleep :)
If you are looking for a cheap accommodation but comfortable, Danke Lodge is the place. First, the staff is absolutely nice and caring, I was sick for 2 days and they took care of me. The rooms are spacious, with AC, private bathroom with hot shower. The location is far from the centre, but they provide free rides every time you need a ride to/from the city centre, very convenient.
