Offering free WiFi, Gecko Lodge Fiji is located 3 minutes' drive from Savusavu town. Each air-conditioned room offers a patio and a TV. Shared facilities include a communal kitchen and a BBQ area. On the second day I was staying there, one of the owners of Gecko Lodge passed away. This place will be shut (at least the next months). They immediately gave me the Option to either stay or refund the remaining days without charge. Although I was staying only 2 nights there and 6 were refunded, Jeremy and Saras Family were incredible hospitable and made me feel at home inspite of the circumstances. Thanks Jeremy, Saroj, Natasha and Sunny for everything.

Sunset Lodge is located in Savusavu. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. Some units are air conditioned and include a terrace and/or a seating area with a flat-screen TV. This was a perfect place to stay for me and my partner, just minutes out of the town means that it is both convenient and quiet. The staff were super helpful and happy to check us in late after we arrived from the ferry. All in all a lovely experience.

Vosa Ni Ua offers pet-friendly accommodation in Naindi, 12 minutes' drive from Savu Savu airport. Free private parking is available on site. There is a seating and/or dining area in some units. I can't say that I liked it; I loved it. Fiji Lodge Vosa Ni Ua is exceptional with its location, cute cottage and lovely staff support that truly makes it a home away from home. The communication with the owner - Clark Murphy is efficient and he makes it as seamless as possible. The lovely feel of the entire place and location makes it convenient for travel along the Hibiscus Highway with lovely nights accompanied by the signature "Vosa Ni Ua" or voice of the waves on the beach nearby. To put it simply, I loved everything about Fiji Lodge Vosa Ni Ua.

Boasting water views of the emerald green river, Salt Lake Lodge features a a shared fully equipped kitchen and BBQ facilities. It is 20 minutes’ drive from Savusavu Airport. The location is stunning - on a tidal river that flows into a pristine lake. The lodge provided kayaks and tubes - and offered a variety of activities. This is a very eco friendly lodge. The staff were all wonderful. We were able to use the beautiful outdoor kitchen. All the food was excellent. Chef Oscar Ramateau prepared fresh and delicious meals for us both days and even accommodated one of our parties extreme allergies. It's the perfect place for a small group. Six of us (3 couples) fit very comfortably there. We completely enjoyed our stay there and would happily return.
