With mountain views, Hacienda El Rejo is located in Machachi and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, sun terrace and children's playground. The hacienda is a relaxing and beautiful place to stay. The breakfasts and dinners were awesome. Sebadtian and Victor are wonderful cooks and do whatever you need to feel comfortable. Since it is a working dairy farm feeding the baby cows was fun.

I’m an animal lover, so I love the fact that, Cuello de Luna has variety of domesticated animals. Installations are amazing, if you want to unwind and relax for a few days. The best place for yoga.

Chimborazo Lodge twins a remote and otherworldly location with absolute luxury inside - roaring fires, huge panes of glass to make the most of the views, extremely friendly staff and excellent food. The lodge and all the surrounding buildings are full of climbing memorabilia, hunting trophies and old photos of mountain climbers that give the place an aura of adventure. While we weren't undertaking a climb of Chimborazo - the views were enough for us - many of the other guests seemed to be. Oh, and the Lodge is surrounded by alpacas, and hummingbirds are everywhere!

Ilinizas Mountain Lodge offers accommodation set in Chaupi, 40 km from Metropolitano del Sur Park and 45 km from Army Polytechnic School. Guests at the lodge can enjoy an American breakfast. S.D. The location was perfect for our needs, offering close proximity to the mountains to acclimatise for our Cotopaxi climb. It is a family run mountain lodge and the owners Fernando and Teresa were incredibly personable and accommodating, always ready to assist with any request. They even arranged transport for us to the local mountains and the main road. One of the highlights was the delicious home-cooked meals, with breakfast and dinner included in the price. The rooms were very spacious, providing plenty of room to relax, and the showers were consistently hot, which was a welcome feature after a long day on the mountains. I’d highly recommend this mountain lodge!

Great location, view over Cotopaxi and other volcanoes was fabulous. Lots of birds in the grounds. Fantastic room with a lovely wood fire to keep you cosy. Restaurant food was good. If driving yourself allow a lot more time to get there - we nearly did not make it before park shut due to bad roads, cows and an accident (not us) slowing things dow.
