Danta Corcovado Lodge offers its guests a library, Wi-Fi access in public areas free of charge and extensive gardens. Tea and coffee services are available from 06:00 to 22:00 hours. The outdoor reception and dining area are a great open space, welcoming guests and making us feel very comfortable and relaxed! You can see how much creativity and love for detail went into constructing all buildings and cabins at Danta Corcovado Lodge. I loved the way the cabins were built and especially the “outdoor” bathrooms (still full privacy guaranteed).

Offering garden views, Finca la Bonita, Playa Carate in Carate offers accommodation, a restaurant, a garden and a terrace. A patio with mountain views is offered in each unit. This place is a hidden gem! A rustic cabin with the basic facilities you need to experience the jungle up close and immerse yourself in nature. Christian and Gabriel, along with Marley the dog, are welcoming local hosts who have a huge amount of insight, history, and knowledge to share. They offer different tours, and we recommend all 3 we did - the day tour in Corcovado, kayaking, and night turtles. They also offer meals if you let them know in advance (there are no easy options locally, so we'd highly recommend), and this made the stay really easy too. This cabin is for those looking to experience the jungle on their doorstep (literally!), if you are after a luxurious stay there are eco lodges nearby, but for an authentic experience (and possibly stepping out of your comfort zone) we would 110% recommend staying here. With garden views, Kinkajoungalows - Amaya Family, Drake Bay, Osa Peninsula is set in San Pedrillo and has a restaurant, a tour desk, bar, garden and terrace. Sam and his family were really welcoming. We loved staying there. The bungalow was surrounded by nature and so close to the beach. The food was very nice too. Would highly recommend :-)

Amazonita Ecolodge is situated in Dos Brazos in the heart of the Jungle, 16 km from Puerto Jimenez. Free private parking is available on site. All units feature a seating area. We loved the warm welcome from all the friendly furry friends- adorable dogs and the sweetest kitten Aurora. The staff was also very kind and accommodating. The sounds of the jungle during the night was amazing. The areas were as clean as can be, don’t forget you are in the jungle, it’s an open concept.

Situated in Palo Seco, 15 km from Puerto Jiménez, Finca Kobo features a terrace and views of the mountains. Free WiFi is offered and free private parking is available on site. Amazing tour around the organic farm, very insightful and inspiring!

Surrounded by tropical rainforest, with waterfalls and nature, Luna Lodge features incredible nature tours, yoga, spa treatments, an organic swimming pool and free Wi-Fi in public areas. Everything was simply spectacular: the whole staff is always keen to help and make you feel at home, starting from Lana, the incredible owner of the lodge; the food is local, fresh and delicious; there is a whole range of activities that Lana organize - we even had the opportunity to participate to a Cacao ceremony that was quite an experience. You could literally spend from few days to few months in that lodge as you will always feel at home. The view of the yoga place is spectacular. Just keep in mind that the road to get there requires 4W car and a really expert driver, so if you don’t feel confident, is a good option to accept the lift from the lodge.

Featuring free WiFi, Corcovado Beach Lodge offers eco-friendly accommodation in Puerto Jiménez. Free private parking is available on site. Spacious and comfortable room right by the beach and surrounded by a lush garden. You’ll have iguanas roaming around and lots of birds passing by. What we loved the most is the staff - Tomas and Julia make you feel so welcome!

Offering an outdoor swimming pool, Kalea Yard Hotel is located in Puerto Jiménez. Free WiFi access and free private parking are available in this tropical lodge. No breakfast, but great coffee! The host was friendly and helpful. She arranged a taxi for me when it was time to leave.
