The room was clean and spacious. It has balcony to see the volcano. The lodge has hiking trails. I enjoyed two day solo walk. Well maintained and easy to walk, except river trail. I met only few people on the trail and i was able to enjoy the solitude. I appreciate Greivin at reception helping me to arrange transportation to Mistico to La Fortuna town.

Karen was exceptional and super helpful with getting Transportation arranged to other locations and to activities in the area. She was able to comprehend my bad Spanish. The atmosphere was very laid back and the breakfast was excellent.

The whole place with the sustainable concept was marvelous. The lodges, common area, whole surrounding basically in the jungle, night tour with Jay, the organic food, juices, ... not to mention the owners. They are so dedicated to their cause and I learned so much of them in this short period I stayed there. When you wake up in the morning and embrace all the sounds, animals, trees, plants - the jungle, you think you are in heaven. I would highly recommend this place to stay. I hope to return one day

The house offered a spectacular view of the Arenal Volcano and lush green surroundings. The spacious yard was perfect for morning workouts. The bathroom was very well-equipped and roomy. We also made good use of the laundry facilities, which allowed us to take care of our laundry during our stay.

Offering an outdoor pool, Catarata Eco Lodge is a property located in Fortuna, Costa Rica that features stunning views of Arenal Volcano. Free Wi-Fi access is available. The place is so pretty, you have a view of the volcano and the garden is full of nice plants, flowers and trees. We saw so many birds, it was so nice. The breakfast was great, they give you 3 options. The room was clean and very comfortable, they had hot water (not always common in Costa Rica).
