This is one of the few cabanas we’ve stayed at in Chile which we haven’t attached the label ‘rustic’ to. Great location, very relaxing and the owners were super friendly and helpful.

The lodge offers a terrace. Everything! This place is “heart and soul”! Built by your host, Renzo, he has created a place of calm that stress just falls away! Each can in has its own “forrest” and hot tub! The cabins are simple and all different having used the nature around to build them. The best of all is your host Renzo! He too is all heart and soul and his hospitality and help is endless. What a gem! A gem of a place, a gem of a host! We’ll miss him very much.

Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. Our experience at Almabosque Cabanas was stellar from start to finish! We were 2 families with 4 adults and 5 teenagers. The Cabanas were perfect, with ample space for our crew to both gather together and get some space when needed. The location is also perfect, close to the water, to downtown, to everything, yet tucked on a quiet side road. And, most importantly, Julio (the owner and host) is simply amazing. So helpful, warm, and welcoming, it feels like home.

A children's playground is available on site and canoeing can be enjoyed within close proximity of the lodge. Cute cabin with a wood stove for heating. The wood stove worked very well and wood was restocked in the cabin each day. Beds are super cozy with lots of blankets to keep you warm. Great views of the bay. Enjoyed viewing the birds and the bay upon waking each morning. Great hot water shower without waiting for water to heat up. Need a car to get to this location but it is only a short drive to Castro. Nice and quiet area. Would have stayed here longer had my itinerary allowed.

Ruben is an amazing person and an incredible host.  Peuma lodge is located in a breath taking forest clearing with a gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains, a small river crossing the grassy land, it's absolutely perfect.  We stayed in a specious and beautifully decorated wooden cabin with the MOST comfortable bed we had in our entire 2 months vacation.  The place had a fire place that keeps it warm and cozy.  The bathroom was very big and luxurious, it was a pleasure.  We were arrived after a long drive and spent 2 nights. Although there are many trails and other attractions in the area - with which Ruben can help you - the weather was rainy so we decided to stay in and had the most comfortable stay we could ever hope for. We got to use the hot tub and sauna, play ping-pong in the club house, walk around the wooden paths and read a book by the fireplace in the beautiful common area and it was absolutely magical. Ruben was so attentive to anything we needed!  We would 100% stay here again if we are in the area!
