I loved the location. It is on a treed, gated, city lot within walking distance to downtown, perfect for women traveling alone. I felt very comfortable and safe. I also loved the central heat and feather comforter.

it was an outstanding location a beautiful walk to the center of the city. It had the feel of an old-time ski lodge at Lake Tahoe or squaw Valley. The staff was exceptionally nice, the breakfast was delicious and all food there was fantastic.
Best lodge I stayed in chile. Surrounded in picturesque area. Very upscale, sophisticated and tastefully designed. Wonderful breakfast and dinner. I didn’t want to leave.

Good place. Easy check in. Close to the beautiful waterfront and bars / restaurants. It is a decent walk I to the city but a bus passes right past the door. Easy and cheap use.

The stuff/owners are super friendly, the place is a classic Chilean wooden house, and it's huge. Great views of the volcano at sunset from living room.
The lodge is set in a private large compound with other properties, so it's very quiet apart from the endlessly barking dogs everywhere. There is direct access to a beautiful pier leading out to the gorgeous lake where you can swim. It's got a lovely garden and the owner Carolina is an amazing artist and makes wonderful sculptures. the whole place is decorated with art. wifi was very good too.
You would like to stay in this hostel forever. The hostel is located on Casa Horn, a wooden house built by the German settlers in 1932. The house has lots of character.
The staff are very helpful and friendly.
The ‘habitación de roble’ is beautiful, quiet and confortable.
