The calm and the nature surrounding the Lodge
It was clean and comfortable, and very quiet. Lovely old wooden house in an excellent location at the end of the old town.
Amazing lodge, very comfortable and located in the middle of the forest, with super beautiful views. It´s close to some great beaches, such as Lopes Mendes and Mangues. Also, the whole staff team was very friendly and treated us very well.
Amazing location, great staff, excellent breakfast. The lodge is in a beautiful setting on a quiet part of the island, and overlooks a couple of very nice beaches (lopes mendes is also a short walk away). They’ve got kayaks you can use for free, and we had a fun morning kayaking round parts of the island - there’s no strong current so it felt very safe.
This is an amazing hotel on a secluded island next to one of the best beaches in the world. The staff and food is amazing helpful and goes the extra mile to help you. The price is actually very reasonable for what you get in return. Book your stay here immediately! Thank you Felipe and team from the atlantica jungle lodge!

Books was the perfect introduction to the lively centre and hub of Rio de Janeiro, where we met a lot of fellow travellers and had great fun with some very reasonably priced caipirinhas! You can hope that they're still doing happy hour by the time you come and enjoy this perfectly located party-starting lodge. For a youth hostel fully of the party spirit Felipe and his rotating team of volunteers were all extremely fun and helpful when called upon, and the breakfast and cleanliness were maintained well by the local permanent staff.
