This is a really special spot in Kruger National Park. The bungalows and common spaces are beautiful. We saw elephants and rhinos at the watering hole from the balcony serval times. They host two guided game drives per day with amazing guides. We saw so many animals. The staff is absolutely wonderful - everything is taken care of from a lovely breakfast to wonderful dinners and plenty of snacks in between. It was a magical stay!

Simply amazing place. I loved every minute of my stay. Location above the river is incredible, the river bed below is teeming with wildlife including hippos, elephants, giraffes, water buffalo, birds all visible from your room or the deck. The rooms are stunning and so comfortable with everything you could ever want or need. The meals and food are delicious and plentiful, the staff so friendly and helpful and the game drives are brilliant. You are in the park so no queuing at the gate to enter. Go here and don't bother going anywhere else. It's totally worth it.

This place is simply amazing. The tents are super nice and clean provided with mosquito nets and air conditioning. Private bathroom as part of the tent. The staff is very friendly and you can easily connect with other people during game drive or at the camp fire.
Game drives were fantastic! We have seen all the big 5 and our guides Karabo and Floyd are very knowledgeable.
We also really enjoyed the food. The star is the braai (bbq) which offers options for meat lovers and vegetarians. I was surprised how good the oxtail was. The starter soups are also amazing. Vegetarian options were also available on request. Potential allergies were requested beforehand.
For breakfast my favourite was the omelette, but other options are provided as well.
Besides all of this you can enjoy the pool surrounded by birds between your game drives and in the night time, the sounds of the bush (yes we heard hyenas while falling asleep, but no need to worry, all is safe as a fence separates you from the wild animals!). Don’t forget to loop up at night and enjoy the clear night sky full of stars from the entrance of your tent.
Brendan has been super useful to assist us with the tour booking to Sabi Sand

The staff was very kind and our driver amazing. The room was big with a wonderful terrace!
Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
The lodge is super nice. The tent fully equipped and the staff really kind.
The position is great and allow for amazing safari. Our guide Peter was super!
We loved the lodge. It was a truly special experience. Everything. The safari, the food, the environment of the hotel, the facilities, the staffs. It is an expensive experience, but totally worth it if you have the chance to invest!
Very friendly and heloful staff. Very knowledgeable , friendly and welcoming safari guide( Amend). He made our safari trips very enjoyable
Quality of food was very good
Great to see lots of elephants at the water hole from the lodge decking
I had the pleasure of experiencing several game drives at Jock Safari Lodge recently, and I must say that the expertise and dedication of our ranger truly enhanced the entire adventure. He exhibited an exceptional knowledge of the local flora and fauna, providing insightful information and making each game drive an educational and memorable experience. His passion for wildlife conservation was evident, creating a contagious enthusiasm.
Nothing because the house offered was not what we had booked . On booking.com the properties are not listed as lodges but villas so we got a very old house and the pictures are a mixture of all the places at elephant point
The highlights were the location of the Train above the Sabi River - unbeatable! Beautiful, well positioned pools, decks, bars and chill areas provide a world class safari and luxurious atmosphere.
The food offering at all meals was the best we have experienced at any five star game lodge in South Africa - exceptional!
Special dietary requirements are particularly well catered for and the all inclusive drinks policy is a bonus.
Staff customer orientation is outstanding - all guest requests were accommodated with enthusiasm.
What a fantastic place to stay for an amazing safari. The staff was exceptional friendly and kind. Our game driver Vusi was amazing!! what a experience this guy has and a unbelievable eye on where the animals are. The food was great and our lodge very luxurious. We travel a lot and can highly recommend this accommodation.
