Rhino Post Safari Lodge, hotel in Skukuza

Rhino Post Safari Lodge offers luxury accommodations located in the southern end of a 12000 hectare private wilderness concession in Kruger National Park.

This is a really special spot in Kruger National Park. The bungalows and common spaces are beautiful. We saw elephants and rhinos at the watering hole from the balcony serval times. They host two guided game drives per day with amazing guides. We saw so many animals. The staff is absolutely wonderful - everything is taken care of from a lovely breakfast to wonderful dinners and plenty of snacks in between. It was a magical stay!

Leopard Sands Kruger Park, hotel in Skukuza

Featuring a swimming pool, a terrace, a bar and views of the river, Leopard Sands Kruger Park is located in Skukuza and provides accommodations with free WiFi.

We absolutely loved the staff and the very warm welcome!! The accommodations were excellent. The food was phenomenal, and the chef even prepared delicious vegetarian food for half of our family! The airport pick-up staff was friendly and starting showing us animals as we drove from the airport to our lodging. The view of the river from our private patio was just gorgeous, and we witnessed a family of elephants coming down to the river upon arrival. The evening drive and the morning drive were perfect and we were able to see the Big 5… actually only 4 ( didn’t see a rhino) but we all learned so much! We enjoyed every moment and appreciated the parka jackets ( a very cold morning!) and mountain top break with snacks with the morning game drive. FYI: the morning and evening game drives are included with your stay. Highly recommend Leopard Sands for an amazing Kruger Park experience of a lifetime!

Elephant Plains Game Lodge, hotel in Sabi Sand Game Reserve

Situated in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, adjacent to the Kruger National Park, Elephant Plains Game Lodge features an outdoor pool, a spa, and luxury accommodations.

This jungle hotel offers excellent facilities, great food, and attentive staff. My room was spacious with stunning views, making it feel like a hidden paradise. However, the remote location makes access very challenging, which can detract from the experience. While the game drives are enjoyable, the wildlife variety is limited compared to Kruger Park. A nice place, but not ideal if easy access is a priority.

Elephant Point, hotel in Skukuza

Located in the exclusive Elephant Point Estate, bordering the Kruger National Park, Elephant Point offers villa accommodations within 16 mi of Skukuza Airport.

I booked the villa I liked but they changed it and said “we upgraded it” but I already told them what I am looking for from staying but they never confirmed until I got there so I had to move next day to the one I chose originally and it made me lose 2 days.

I had the pleasure of experiencing several game drives at Jock Safari Lodge recently, and I must say that the expertise and dedication of our ranger truly enhanced the entire adventure. He exhibited an exceptional knowledge of the local flora and fauna, providing insightful information and making each game drive an educational and memorable experience. His passion for wildlife conservation was evident, creating a contagious enthusiasm.

The highlights were the location of the Train above the Sabi River - unbeatable! Beautiful, well positioned pools, decks, bars and chill areas provide a world class safari and luxurious atmosphere. The food offering at all meals was the best we have experienced at any five star game lodge in South Africa - exceptional! Special dietary requirements are particularly well catered for and the all inclusive drinks policy is a bonus. Staff customer orientation is outstanding - all guest requests were accommodated with enthusiasm.
