We absolutely loved our stay at Langa Langa. The staff were exceptional. Cheri in particular looked after us with so much care and is a true asset to Langa Langa. She looked after me and check in on me when I was ill which was really appreciated and took such good care of us for the duration.
The safari guides were amazing - and we got to see some incredible wildlife. Sabi sands is so worth doing and a much more authentic safari experience - so book that in!
Great food, the chef made an extra effort with my dietary requirements and a birthday cake for my partner! And the barman always made sure we were well hydrated.
I wouldn’t hesitate to book this place! Location is perfect for both Kruger and Sabi, it’s a great set up!
The tents are super comfortable, loads of space and more private than I expected. We can’t wait to come back.

This was the most amazing experience we have ever had in our lives.
Imagine a place where every single person of the staff is super well trained - from reception, receiving you after a safari / bush walk with delicious welcoming drinks; kitchen (Betty you rock!) preparing perfect dishes; cleaning always cheerful and warmful…
Apart from that every single game ride we did was remarkable: leopard cubs, rare wild dogs and baby elephants. The rangers and the trackers are exceptionally well trained - they can explain you the animals habits and how they behave. We were amazed to understand that us humans don’t intervene in nature’s way and that there are a set of rules to follow in order to have a safe and nature friendly ride. Huge shout out to Jordan and Daron who were our rangers and gave us a real SHOW on Africa.
Finally, this is one of the best value for money lodge in the region - we can drive in 8k hectares of land within Sabi Sands, which allow us to see a diverse set of animal life with a reasonable price.
Thank you Elephant Plain’s staff for this amazing experience!

The property is 5 min from Paul Kruger gate and very private which we loved. We could come home to relax in our haven after a long game drive with our private pool, outdoor showers, AC, and fully functional kitchen. The staff were amazing and Clint was exceptional in making sure all our needs were met. I can highly recommend Rixile
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
The lodge is super nice. The tent fully equipped and the staff really kind.
The position is great and allow for amazing safari. Our guide Peter was super!
We loved the lodge. It was a truly special experience. Everything. The safari, the food, the environment of the hotel, the facilities, the staffs. It is an expensive experience, but totally worth it if you have the chance to invest!
Very friendly and heloful staff. Very knowledgeable , friendly and welcoming safari guide( Amend). He made our safari trips very enjoyable
Quality of food was very good
Great to see lots of elephants at the water hole from the lodge decking
I had the pleasure of experiencing several game drives at Jock Safari Lodge recently, and I must say that the expertise and dedication of our ranger truly enhanced the entire adventure. He exhibited an exceptional knowledge of the local flora and fauna, providing insightful information and making each game drive an educational and memorable experience. His passion for wildlife conservation was evident, creating a contagious enthusiasm.
Nothing because the house offered was not what we had booked . On booking.com the properties are not listed as lodges but villas so we got a very old house and the pictures are a mixture of all the places at elephant point
The highlights were the location of the Train above the Sabi River - unbeatable! Beautiful, well positioned pools, decks, bars and chill areas provide a world class safari and luxurious atmosphere.
The food offering at all meals was the best we have experienced at any five star game lodge in South Africa - exceptional!
Special dietary requirements are particularly well catered for and the all inclusive drinks policy is a bonus.
Staff customer orientation is outstanding - all guest requests were accommodated with enthusiasm.
What a fantastic place to stay for an amazing safari. The staff was exceptional friendly and kind. Our game driver Vusi was amazing!! what a experience this guy has and a unbelievable eye on where the animals are. The food was great and our lodge very luxurious. We travel a lot and can highly recommend this accommodation.
