Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
The lodge was situated about 25km West of Springbok. The lodge has been carefully restored but keeping the original features and providing some very nice modern facilities (AC etc)
The food at the lodge was superb and cooked to perfection by the resident chef each day. Each morning we had an excellent freshly prepared breakfast cooked to order (Ordered previous evening)
All of the staff were helpful and accommodating (especially Shannon) and were on hand for anything needed
