We absolutely loved our stay here! The property was in such a beautiful location out of the busy town and between the tall majestic mountains and peaceful rice fields. The host went above and beyond to ensure his guests felt comfortable and had the best possible experience. He even invited us to his family dinner party, which was an absolute honour to meet his kind and welcoming relatives and friends. Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Tu in particular was so helpful, arranging rides for us, and ensuring we were kept comfy and well fed. The lodges are all very well kept, the beds are comfy and the views of the lake from the balconies at the individual lodges are wonderful.
Staff super attentive and nothing too much trouble...bookings, rebooting and drinks and snacks.
Eco lodges are that. Rustic and interestingly (in a good way) put together.
Air con great and mozzie nets on beds... needed but not for mozzies.
Shower and bathroom more than adequate.
Ecolodge has everything you need, everything you want. The owners are very kind, smiling and proposes everything you’ll need to have a great Time in Phong Nha. (Caves guided tour, free bikes, motorcycle location)
Breakfasts are good, Vietnamese coffees are excellent !
Pool is definitely a plus !

I booked the Pygmy Cave tour with them and then booked a room. No complaints at all. Lovely staff, great rice field and mountain view, nice food at the lodge and big portions. Nice doggies and nice pool. All great.
The owners went above and beyond with any and all requests. They assisted with activities, transport etc etc. We were even treated to the famous Barbeque. The location was on point and we were dropped of a the lodge on our boat trip to the caves as a bonus. We were offered many cups of hot ginger tea as comfort in the cold weather. Exceptional value for money
Hung is very enthusiastic, he texted as soon as I booked and even though our train was an hour late, he was still very enthusiastic. Hung advised tours here and let us check in early. than . The rooms are mostly air-conditioned lodges, the swimming pool is a nice extra.
Great value for money.
The hotel owner, Son, was extremely nice and he taught us how to drive a motorbike and even came to check on our safety when we were taking a long time. The breakfast was tasty,, the lodges cosy and the staff kind. Son always went out of his way to make sure we were looked after and had everything we need. Highly recommend.
communications with Toni the owner was excellent he messaged as soon as I had made to booking and although our train was delayed and arrived after the cave day trip pickup up time he reorganised a later trip and gave us breakfast before our rooms were ready. The rooms are wooden lodges with A/C the pool is a nice extra. Great value for money.
The best costumer service we have had in Vietnam so far, they offered to pick us up at the bus stop at 4 AM in the morning, and also allowed us to rest before the tour. The bedroom was super comfortable and the toilet very clean. The
lodge is beautiful with a cozy view to the mountains. I highly recommend this place!
