Looking for a lodge?
Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.

Compact, cozy, clean, comfortable and a quite 1bedroom house. The host was reachable to answer any questions. Easy self checkin/checkout procedure. House has 1 queen bed in the bedroom and 1 queen bed in the living room making it a good option to stay with family. The kitchen was stocked with all basic things like cups, bowls etc. Very close to where cruises start and major attractions in Seward. Personally I felt this was a better and comfortable option than a lodge.

Great location just outside Seward. On-site dinner restaurant was good. Fun collection of old trucks and tractors at the lodge. Easy drive up to Exit Glacier park or into Seward for activities. Very good value. Nice staff.

Hotel management was very welcoming, personable, and helpful. He was quick to offer suggestions for excursions, and even had some for us in Homer, our next stop. The lodge location is ideal. It’s close to the glacier, the sled dog tours, town with restaurants, shops and bars, as well as the port for boat excursions. Also, right next door is a restaurant and the food was delicious. After taking the long drive from Denali in, it was welcome news to hear we could dine without getting back in the car again.

Restroom and bath share with others is a challenge, but there in lodge it’s a good design. Only two rooms share bath & restroom and in addition bath and restroom are divided. Free coffe in the morning and helpful owner!!

This lodge was located on the bay and the wildlife viewing was spectacular. We saw eagles and otters and enjoyed fishing at the end of the street. The owners were friendly and all staff were personable.

Quaint and homely . Staff really friendly and helpful. Great coffee downstairs from early morning and hot water available all the time. Good size rooms with hair dryer and coffee. Near Exit glacier , slightly outside town. Major marines boat tours pick up from the lodge . Really great base

I enjoyed the quiet, homey environment of the Glacier Creek Lodge, nestled just outside of the town of Seward. This location allowed us to be nearby to the 4th of July festivities, while still being able to rest and recover. I also liked the local artwork displayed throughout the lodge and the spaces' cleanliness.

We booked the cabin just couple of days prior to arrival to Alaska and had little expectations (all other places were fully booked and quite expensive). So, we were pleasantly surprised by the comfort the lodge has provided. I mean, we had all we needed - good beds, clean house, TV, WiFi, small kitchen and clean bathroom. The owner was very attentive and gave advices on some local activities. Me and my family spent wonderful couple of days in Seward and Spruce Goose lodge added to it greatly.

Friendly staff and rustic location. Hourly shuttle into town was a nice bonus. Restaurant on premises was decent. One of the larger and nicer hotel/lodges in Seward. Hotel is spread out over several small two-story buildings on the property.

We had been doing a lot of driving around Alaska; staying in motels and lodges, so it was great having our own private space especially the kitchen and coffee pot!! It was clean, well maintained and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. We would definitely rent one of these apartments again.
