The accommodation is ideally located near the main beach in Nungwi and features a beautiful garden and well-decorated rooms. The staff is generally very kind and helpful, which made our stay more pleasant. However, the experience with the owner was disappointing.

This was my fourth time staying at Mambo Cabana, and it never fails to impress! My mom, friend, and her family joined me this time, and we all agreed it was the highlight of our trip.
I love that each time I visit, there are new renovations to elevate the guest experience. The hotel is cosy, and beautifully maintained. The staff were attentive and made us feel at home. The food was absolutely unmatched. It was full of flavor and clearly the chef knows what he is doing. Even nearby restaurants and the other hotels we stayed at couldn’t compare!
This hotel offers excellent service, and amazing food that leaves a lasting impression. Highly recommended for anyone looking for both relaxation and a central spot to explore Zanzibar.

Perfect stay in nungwi, booked for 2 days, stayed for 4 with plan to return after safari. Excellent location, clean beach with beautiful sunset view. Close to good priced restaurants.
Warere is situated in a remote area, so quiet and peaceful away from the hustle and bustle of kendwa and nungwi but yet just 5 mins drive from the hotel .
Staff are superbly helpful and attentive.

The place was clean though the surrounding area is very dirty. The girl at the lodge is super nice. The cooking area is quite spacious. The beds are different but comfortable.

A wonderful and beautiful place to relax! The Lodges are all located right at the Ocean, Ocean view included. The beach is empty, I have been alone at the beach most of the times.

Nice quiet complex with friendly staff and a beautiful pool and garden. Oh and delicious breakfast, finally a bit different from all other Tanzanian lodges we stayed at.

Set-up of the place is perfect for relaxation with lot of beds/pool seat all over. Fees likes clean lodges of Grec Island.
