The host (Alberto) makes the most of all the available space inside the micro-lodges and provides a friendly hospitable service with emphasis on not intruding on your experience unless you need something.
A delicious and sizable varied breakfast was left at our door every morning, although we were not usually able to finish everything, taking some of this with you as a snack during the day would be a good idea.
We had a fantastic stay at Alluar lodge. Our room was cozy, clean and very comfortable. The view was very beautiful. The breakfast hamper was also a highlight each morning. There is a lovely communal area to relax in , as well as a swimming pool area and garden overlooking the sea. The hosts were wonderful and made us feel right at home. We would highly recommend.
We loved our short stay at Alluar Lodge! The owners, Luciana and Alberto, provided useful information about places and monuments to visit. The bungalow was cute, had everything we needed and the views of the ocean from the balcony were gorgeous! The breakfast was absolutely delicious!
This is a beautiful old home that is loaded with charm. The living room has the most incredible view out onto the bay, and has the feel of an old mariners lodge, with wood paneling and bookshelves along the walls. It is located minutes walk away from the historic center. The hostess Mafalda was lovely and very helpful. We could not have asked for a lovelier place.
Stay at ALLuar Lodge was absolutely wonderfull! We loved every minute of it, from the breakfast basket,till the sunset. Every morning the breakfast was served in a picnic basket full of local goodies and we could take it anywhere we wished to eat, usually it was on the balcony with the ocean view. Restaurants are just a stroll away, some ocean swimming also. Good location on the south of island, hosts also helps with itenerary and tips. Everything was perfect and we hope to return :)
The hosts created something unique, that's not just an accomodation but an experience itself! The lodges are great on it's own, but Alberto elevates the hospitality to the next level - breakfast from locally-sourced products delivered daily, great tips and help on getting around, and very pleasurable surrounding. Everything is well-thought and provided with guests in mind. Add the amazing view, fast wifi, and scenic yard where you can hang out to the mix - it's deifinitely an exceptional place!
This is a wonderful property. The hosts were the most welcoming that I have ever encountered- so personable yet so respectful of guest’s privacy. The grounds were serene and the views, stunning. Breakfast basket was such a fun experience every morning. Great parking. Restaurants nearby. Our lodge was so inviting I didn’t want to leave
