Staying at StarDome was a truly unique experience. The mountain views are incredible!
The room was equipped with thoughtful amenities, including ponchos, slippers, flashlights, umbrellas, and binoculars for sightseeing.
Breakfast is decent and included with the stay. The on-site restaurant is lovely. For our early morning to Machu Picchu, the staff kindly prepared a boxed breakfast for us.

The staff were great: Ramon, Checo and Daniel.
Daniel was super on top of things. From the get go we knew what was going to happen. All of them accommodated translation in both English and Spanish. Took their time and we made it!!! This was a very doable experience., I never did a Via Ferrata nor Ziplining nor an extreme sport before and I was very proud. My partner was his first time too, but he is more fit then I am. The facilities were clean, comfy, cozy. SkyLodge was the best bed we had slept in, from our entire Peru trip and that says quite a lot. All instructions were easy to understand and we felt extremely safe all the way. We had the highest pod and had no issue moving between our and the dining pod, even in the dark! There was wind blowing, however nothing too drastic shaking the pod, as some reviews stated(and we did have very strong winds that night- it rained that night) not too much noise as some reviewers experienced from below traffic or the train and only some lights from the towns below but nothing too bad (close the curtains on that side if ur bothered) The food was great, we felt like VIP's and all were truly genuine in their service and hospitality. From our hotel pick up to our drop off (we had a massage appointment to make in Cusco that afternoon) they went out of their way to accommodate us and make the experience one out of this world♥️. What a tranquil and welcoming property tucked away from the hustle and bustle in the sacred valley! Rudi and Claudia were exceptional hosts. They were so friendly and hospitable. Dinner was fantastic and they even accommodated my friend’s vegan needs. Our room was gorgeous with an amazing view and balcony. The bed was cozy and warm. We ended the evening next to the fire, gazing at the stars with Túpac the Llama. Rudi even arranged a few guided tours for us that were absolutely perfect!

Definitely a cool experience. The pods are accessible by carabineer climbing/hiking up the cliff. The hot tubs were very hot which was great on a cold day. The staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were wonderful and they did their best to accommodate for a restricted diet.
They offer professional videography and photography for your stay if you want.

The room that we got was so clean and so cute. There’s a cute hostel cat that runs around. The space is huge and you can hang out in multiple places. It’s a little far from town but it’s a safe and nice walk. Breakfast was simple but yummy!
Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
We got sick during our stay there and not because of anything related to the hotel but the owners were so gracious and so helpful that I can honestly say that there is nowhere I would have rather convalesced than at their lodge. They went above and beyond to help us feel better. Many, many thanks.
Edith and Stijn are excellent host. They do their utmost to make you feel welcome. Beautiful lodge next to the river.
Nice garden to relax. Clean room, comfy bed and clean bathroom with hot shower. Delicious breakfast and very complete, bread, cheese, homemade jam, fruit, yogurt, eggs. Ollantaytambo is a beatiful town so if you can stay more than a day!
This is a nice small lodge close to the main part of Ollantaytambo and not more than an easy 15 min walk to the train station to go to Machu Picchu. The breakfast is very good- coffee, tea, bread, & eggs cooked to order, plus fresh bread, fruits & veggies- all delicious. The owner/operator and his family are super nice & helpful. Also, the owner is very knowledgable about Peru & things to do. He's an official tour guide if you want to hire him for your excursions. We'll be back sometime, hopefully soon!
We loved our stay at Apu Lodge, the location is beautiful and the staff were really helpful. Special shoutout to the driver they arranged for us Edgar who took us around the nearby sites.
Tunupa Lodge hotel is very nicely located In Ollantaytambo with a 5 minute walk to the train station and a 5 minute walk to the town square, The grounds are lush and serene with a beautiful view of the Ollantaytambo ruins and the Andes Mountains. The rooms are clean and quiet. The staff goes out of the way to make our stay comfortable.
I liked the hosts very much. It felt like coming home every time I entered the door. They are very kind, for example they make you feel at ease, arrange day trips for you, make nice breakfast, do your laundry. They are the best.
Also, the view from my room was beautiful. You could see the mountains by laying in bed. The lodge is 5-10 min walking from the main square but that was nice regarding the noise.
The facilities were great. The lodges themselves were spacious, very warm with the log burner, extremely quiet and a very comfy bed with zero problems with hot water within the bathroom. We were lucky enough to have a clear nights sky where the stars lit up the sky like someone had flicked white paint into the sky, absolutely beautiful.
