It’s a nice lodge in the cook village. Honestly speaking more cost-effective one compared to the fancy hotel. I liked the smell of their soap. The shared kitchen and common area has magnificent view of the snowy mountains! Have plenty of kitchenware and space for food in the fridge. There are quite a few parking space up front. If you staying in cook village, better bring your own ingredients for cooking or instant food. Cuz there isn’t that many place that sell food here and not many options.

Just loved Mount Cook, and Aoraki Alpine Lodge! The views were amazing, and the hospitality top notch. The rooms and bed was so warm and comfortable, especially with us visiting in the month of June.

The location is great if you're staying in Mount Cook, with it only being < 5-minute walk from the Hermitage hotel. Keep in mind though, it's important to make sure you bring your own food if you want to avoid the overpriced buffet service at the Hermitage hotel. The lodge has a kitchen space on level 2 that you can leverage to save money.

The location was wonderful, located next to the visitor center, which was exceptional, and within 5-7 minutes drive of our targeted hiking trails. The lodge's community room and the kitchen were spacious and provided plenty of seating and great views, and the kitchen was well equipped with plenty cooking and food service equipment.

Great lodge in the foot of the Mt Cook with a great view. The place is comfortable in the dorm and the shared space.
