It was off the beaten track but very easy to get to, 10 minute drive to Warksworth. Had a great big bath tub that 2 could fit in comfortably. Bed not that comfortable and room was cold although it had a space heater. Had to pay for a glass of wine and breakfast was $25 if available which it was not. No TV. Grounds surrounding private house were very nice. Probably better in warm weather when you can use the pool. Owner was very nice and easy to talk to.

Amazing view, clean and modern design, 15-20 min walk into town and across the street from mudbrick. There was no booking the previous night so we were able to check in early.

The quality of these is fab. No cheap rubbish all high specs named brands.

We were simply using the Lodge for an overnight stay. The pricing was good for that and the facilities were clean and adequate for what we were using it for
The host Qui was lovely and very accommodating. The lodge was beautiful well set out with comfy communal area to relax in. She gave us a lovely breakfast which set us up for the day. It was very relaxing.
The lodge is in a perfect location to walk to pack and save ,or the Wharehouse should you wish along some easy footpaths away from traffic, The lodge is close to the airport ,with a shuttle service provided by the staff.
Staff as always were kind, and friendly and the lodge was clean.
The host Qi, was very friendly and accommodating. The lodge is beautifully modern and clean and has all the amenities you need and more. I would highly recommend Echo lodge and already looking into when we can come back!
Bakers Lodge is an excellent place to stay when you need to be close to Middlemore Hospital. The unit was well equipped. It looks newly renovated with brand new bathroom and stylish fixtures & fittings throughout. I felt quite safe.
