I stayed with my friend in a tent for 2 nights to allow us to safari at Yala- The campsite is beautiful with lots of nature right outside. There is hammocks and chairs in the patio area to enjoy the surroundings. The tent is super clean and sturdy and can be kept cool, the beds are comfortable and the bathroom is amazing. Our host Asanka was so nice and easygoing and helped us with anything we needed- he made us packed breakfast for our safari, showed us the sights in Tissa on our first night (if you get time, definitely go to watch the bats leave the lake as the sun sets- amazing experience!) and helped us figure out public transport to our next location- really a great host!

We enjoyed our stay at Chamith’s hotel. He owns the place with his brother and they’ve had a really hard go at it since covid. You can now really tell they’re doing their absolute best to give you an amazing experience. The bungalows are new, clean, large and have everything you need. The owners prepared us food for the evenings and even packed us breakfast for our very early safari (very tasty!). All in all, if you like wildlife and nature, don’t think twice before coming here! A unique experience, beneficial for all the senses. After several hours of safari, we arrived at a heavenly lodging in the open air, but extremely comfortable and furnished with taste. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast is delicious. We highly recommend a morning trip to the neighboring village, with the young but very wise manager of the hostel. His knowledge of nature and the coexistence of man and nature, as well as the beauty of the animals and plants on the walk, amazed us all
Probably one of the closest places to the park entrance, we got there in 5mins! The area is clean and good place to meet people. There main property has a pool where you can relax. We ordered food which excellent and priced less than $10. If you speak to them they will arrange your Safari.

Very basic place but you’ll have everything you need and an absolutely incredible wildlife surrounding you. Perfect spot to start the Safari tour to Yala NP ! Beautiful beach just 5 min by walking.

wonderful place right next to the nationalpark. In 5 min walking distance you‘ll find beautiful sanddunes right infront of the ocean! Perfect spot to whatch the sunset!
The people who work there are easy going and really friendly. they‘ll help you with the safari and cook you fresh food (also vegan/vegetarian).
It’s a perfect place to stay if you plan to do a Safari in Yala national park. it’s a peaceful place right in the nature and really close to a desert beach and dunes. the staff of yin yang is really friendly and helpful. we really enjoyed the stay!
the lady who did the cooking was a great cook she was also so friendly and helpful she seemed to be the hard worker. we was at the property alone which wasn’t ideal but if there was a few people there probably would be a good atmosphere. ideal if your doing safari in yala.
I was upgraded to garden view room which was great I had the safari with the hotel which was as good as any safari . We saw many animals , the Elephants were most impressive and seeing a crocodile within stone throw .
