Great value for the price, very basic lodge. Staff is very friendly and the breakfast is good. Location is just OK-you really need a car to avoid walking with your skis.

Perfectly laid out for enjoying the mountains! Comfortable, sturdy bunks with privacy partitions. Rooms were not stuffy. Great people with a mountain mindset. Quiet at night- early to bed and early to rise. Awesome hearty breakfast. Wonderful staff.

Such a great little lodge! We stayed for three nights in a double room. Shared bathrooms, which feels typical for the lodges in the area, but each room has its own humidifier and heater so we were cozy after skiing. I honestly didn’t realize how close to the base of Annupuri the lodge was when I booked it, but you can see the lift from the front porch! (quick 5 minute walk). Breakfast was included - Japanese and Western style. Coffee and tea are available all day, you can purchase beer or sake (served in masu cups!) and dinner was delicious (I think the menu changes regularly). The lodge hosts and cooks were friendly and very helpful - the manager helped us arrange luggage forwarding for our ski bags (since we don’t speak Japanese). Highly recommend.
Offering a terrace, Notrack is located in Niseko, 6.2 mi from Niseko Village Ski Resort and 9.3 mi from Rusutsu Ski Resort. Niseko Annupuri International Ski Area is 8.1 mi from the property.

Great location, Greater hosts. Closer to Rusutsu than Niseko, but both are very reachable by car. Hosts were a great help , with local insight on the 2 ski/board resorts. Very family friendly, including visits with the hosts cats. Wish we were in the area longer , than the 2 days we had! Hosts lean towards Bohemian, so just know that and leave any Right leaning agendas at home. Very kind and welcoming Snowboarding rippers
Featuring spacious rooms and a cozy fireside lounge, Ramat Niseko offers lodges only 5 minutes from Niseko Mountain Resort Grand Hirafu on the complimentary shuttle.

I stayed here as a female solo traveler over New Years and it was exactly what I was looking for! Nice to stay over the holidays because there is always company/you won’t feel alone. The people are the heart of this place, always fun people coming in and out. I met so many kind and fun Australians! Everyone that works there is so nice and you will probably play the game “crud” with them. It is a very social hostel and there is always people to connect with. The breakfast was delicious and the bunk beds were surprisingly so comfortable! Everyone is excited to ski so there is a lot of good energy. I rented a car and primarily skied at Rusutsu (very doable if that is what you are thinking), but they have a shuttle that goes to Niseko that is really convenient. Close enough to walk to town, if you can bear the crowds/prices.
Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
With so much of Niseko now fancy new apartment buildings and hotels, Grandpapa is a welcome old-school style ski lodge. Super friendly / helpful staff, comfortable rooms / beds, and a free shuttle bus that gets you to the Hirafu Gondola for 8am. It's also less than 10mins walk from most of the Hirafu restaurants and bars (and 2 mins from the famous Fridge Bar), but on a nice quiet street, so you get the best of both worlds. Very reasonably priced too!
Comfortable twin room #2 (Lake Louise) with great shower, excellent shared kitchen , dining and washing machine.
No problems leaving bags before check-in and after check-out to go ski the day
Really good gaijan breakfast (coffee, bacon eggs, pancakes) at ski lodge next door
Nice little ski lodge. The location is an outside of Niseko village, an 8 minutes walk to the nearest bus stop. Great free breakfast in the morning and the hosts are very friendly!!
Both lodges are equipped with everything you need during a ski holiday. But the real asset is the exceptional staff and the atmosphere. We were immediately integrated and got great tips about skiing and other things to do. Every morning there is a shuttle to the slopes - that allows you to be there early to catch the powder.
When I was looking, Niseko Ski Lodge Higashiyama was by far the cheapest place within walking distance to the ski lift (Banzai), from which you can get a free ride to the nearest lift ticket window (Hilton).
They feed you an all you can eat breakfast that is filling, if not particularly exciting.
Everyone is very nice.
Snowgum Lodge was a basic but well set up Ski Lodge with great kitchen facilities. Access to the Recreational Facilities at the Ramat Lodge was a bonus.
Breakfast (included) was awesome and times were flexible.
Staff went above and beyond I broke my ankle on the first night. They provided extra transportation and ferried us around and nothing seemed too much to ask.
